Not sure what I'd like better:

Entitled chick trying to get in the face of a local dude and get her teeth knocked out or a bunch of cubanas laughing at her about having no shape, no face, and no hope of a legacy because no dude wants part of her drama

On the 1970s "scientists" predicted there would be another Ice Age within the lifetime of those reading the articles. TIME magazine had a few covers featuring the doom and gloom. Other "scientists" predicted that "fossil fuels" would run out between the years 2000 and 2010

Also in the 1970s an Italian architect showed how to easily make solar powered desalination with barges and plexiglass.

Corruption, lack of foresight, and stupidity. Got the kickbacks from the developers to build the strip malls and subdivisions without bother to considering basic water supply needs

Both are temporary

I look forward to the chaos in California when the ripple effect of Valero closing the Benicia refinery takes hold. Sadly Arizona and Nevada rely on Cali for their petroleum products as well. Cali will buy more from Idia, then put heavy fines and fees on the ships waiting to unload. The ship mangers will see the profit loss and simply stop going to Cali. India will sell the fuel to China and BC in Canada instead. Cali will go "fine, we already mandated all electric vehicles by 2030" and then the power companies will go "new nuclear reactors then?" and Jane Fonda and friends will scream "no nukes"

Call the railroads, find the State mandated blend is not available from Texas, nor anywhere else but Cali itself or India (back to the ships) but hey, locomotives are diesel and we don't want your air quality fines either
