Drones like the Shahed on average travel at around 115 mph. The problem with these drones is that they are small, relatively light, carry 100lbs or more warheads, can be launch from a metal rack with a small rocket underneath to get them to cruising altitude, and because of the size, can be buried of hidden fairly easy, small barrages can be setup and launched easily, and are expensive to shoot down due to the expense of loitering with capable jets. No longer. We have air superiority. And with that all we need to do is couple the ultimate loiterer with our glide technology from high altitude balloons at 80k feet and drop a small projectile like the rod of God with a small air burst round in case target is missed so that we can detonate it before it hits the ground. At 80k feet, the projectile would reach supersonic speeds from gravity alone, anywhere from 600 to 844 mph depend on atmospheric conditions. Even a small rocket burst could double or triple those speeds reaching anywhere from 2-3k mph. So targets could be taken out in about 70 seconds from a free fall, to as little as 12 seconds under rocket propulsion. Let's get it done!!!
