''US-Iran news: Iran allows limited cargo ship passage through Strait of Hormuz amid US-Israel attacks''
Earlier, maritime news outlet Lloyd’s List reported that Iran permitted a Greek-owned bulk carrier to transit the Strait of Hormuz with its Automatic Identification System (AIS) active — the first such passage since March 2.
Now, the Financial Times reports that Iran has been allowing a limited number of cargo ships to pass, even amid ongoing US and Israeli attacks.
Shipping data shows that at least six vessels unloaded cargo at Khomeini Port in Iran’s Khuzestan Province, north of the Gulf, and crossed the Strait of Hormuz between March 15 and 16.
