Passenger records alleged UFOs flying over Popocatepetl while traveling in a plane

A passenger who was traveling aboard an airplane shared the terrifying experience he lived after he captured the presence of alleged UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) flying over the airspace of the Popocatepetl Volcano.
In the video broadcast on the social network "X" formerly "Twitter" by the @Mr_Civico account, you can see the exact moment in which a strange spherical object apparently luminous flies slowly until it finally ends up getting lost behind Popocatépetl.
However, the most shocking moment happens when the passenger moves the camera to another angle only to show that there are at least four other unidentified flying objects in the area, which seem to remain static in the sky unlike the first one.

After going viral, the video allegedly captured on March 3, 2026 generated an intense debate among social media users, because while some believed that they were authentic UFOs, others claimed that they could actually be drones or weather balloons, and that the footage would have even been recorded in the Pico de Orizaba.
Although so far the true origin of these objects has not been confirmed, the truth is that it is not the first time that there has been a sighting of alleged UFOs in Popocatépetl, since on several occasions it has been possible to capture the presence of strange lights flying near the Volcan, which has made it one of the areas with the greatest presence of this phenomenon in Mexico.

Danny Dyer has claimed aliens do exist - because it is us that are actually them. The Rivals and EastEnders actor reckons the human race arrived from another planet when dinosaurs became extinct 66 million years ago.
Danny, 48, said: "I’ve got this theory they’d tell us that maybe we are the aliens and during the dinosaur period, a UFO crashed into the earth and we’re the result of it. "Because there’s a lot of mad s*** going on in the world, so I do think that anything’s possible."
Danny has been fascinated by extraterrestrial life for years and fronted a 2010 documentary I Believe in UFOs. In the BBC doc he examined "reported UFO landing sites and sinister evidence that aliens may have conducted scientific experiments in Britain".
Now he has told Rolling Stone magazine that he thinks Earth could do with a new influx of alien arrivals to sort out the world's problems.
He said: "Misogyny, sexism, homophobia and racism are all on the rise again. We’ve regressed as human beings, so we need some sort of reset, don’t we?
"That’s why I’m praying there are f** aliens out there that are gonna come down and change everything. "Who else is gonna f* do it? I got obsessed with the [active comet] 3I/ATLAS for a little while, but it turned out to be f all.
"I really felt, 'Maybe this is it. Maybe the aliens are going to show up.'"
Danny said previously that he believes aliens “are among us” – and they are monitoring the damage humans are causing the planet.
He told his daughter Dani, 25, on their Sorted With The Dyers podcast: “I have seen a couple. I won’t go into it now. “Aliens, they are among us. They’re about at the moment because they can see how much we’re destroying this f***ing planet.
“There’s the Greys which are the commonest ones with the massive heads. You can go right back to the Egyptian times and some of the stuff they were scratching on walls says it all.
“They were being visited quite often by aliens and of course then you didn’t have mobiles or the internet so no-one could really declare it.
But he's far from the only celeb to believe they're real, as Gemma Collins has spoken about an encounter her mum claims to have had.

U.S. Representative Anna Paulina Luna offered an update on the Trump administration's plans to release government information relating to aliens and unidentified flying objects (UFOs) during a recent podcast appearance.

Speaking to media personality Jillian Michaels on Keeping It Real, Luna, who chairs the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, said, “I think they’re very serious about doing it” when asked about President Donald Trump and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s announcement that they would be declassifying information.
“There has been […] instances of footage we cannot explain… As soon as we get the official on-paper declassification order, I want to do a press conference with all the information that we are told and shown,” she said.
Luna added: “I think you’re going to get a lot of cool stuff, but I don’t think that there’s going to be ever the full admission… the Federal government telling you what to believe. They’ll release it, but they’re not going to tell you what to make of it.”
Newsweek reached out to Luna's office for comment via email on Saturday.
The interview comes after Trump announced in February he would be directing Hegseth to start locating and making public government files pertaining to unidentified flying objects and potential extraterrestrial life.
Luna previously recounted her experience with a UFO while serving in the Air Force on The Joe Rogan Experience. Luna told Rogan that while working as an airfield manager at the Portland Air National Guard, she encountered a UAP.
She said a pilot later told her they were not permitted to discuss the incident.

Missing UFO authority never seen leaving his home: Ross Coulthart

Investigative journalist Ross Coulthart points out an interesting wrinkle to the Feb. 27 disappearance of William Neil McCasland, a retired Air Force officer believed to have knowledge of government programs on UFOs and potential nonhuman intelligence.
The 68-year-old McCasland reportedly went missing after leaving his Albuquerque, N.M., home on foot to go hiking.
But Coulthart notes McCasland was not actually seen leaving of his own volition. Rather, a repairman is the last person to have seen him at the residence.
“One hour, he was there with a repairman who saw him in the home, and when his wife came back a little over an hour later, he had disappeared,” Coulthart told “Katie Pavlich Tonight” on Friday.
The local sheriff department’s investigation appears to be at a standstill, and surveillance cameras from neighbors’ properties have yielded nothing, he said.
Left at McCasland’s home was his tracking watch and mobile phone, while a firearm and holster had been taken.
Meantime, a former colleague of McCasland’s, aerospace engineer Monica Reza, disappeared while hiking in the Los Angeles forest with a companion nine months ago.
Police say Reza was about 30 feet behind the person she was hiking with, smiling and waving. When the person turned around, she had vanished.
