Fresh Justice Department files reveal a frantic document destruction operation at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan just days after Jeffrey Epstein’s 2019 death, adding fresh fuel to suspicions of elite protection and deep state obstruction.

This latest bombshell, drawn from a Miami Herald analysis of thousands of pages in the Epstein files, fits the pattern of irregularities we’ve exposed in our prior reporting.

Less than a week after Epstein was found dead inside his cell on August 10, 2019, an inmate was ordered to take bags of shredded material to the jail’s rear gate and throw them in a dumpster on Thursday, August 15, and again on Friday, August 16. The sheer volume struck him as unusual.

“They are shredding everything,” the inmate told one of the guards, adding that he was asked to give the officials a hand with the shredding, with key records vanishing before review.

A corrections officer at the detention facility called the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center that same night, a Friday, at 6:28 p.m. to report that he had “never seen this amount of bags of shredded documents coming out to be put in the dumpster at the rear gate of MCC.”

The caller found it suspicious that an after-action team charged with investigating would be shredding huge amounts of paperwork with FBI, BOP and OIG officials in the building.

A back gate corrections officer was also troubled by what he witnessed. In a memo to investigators three days later, on Monday, August 19, he wrote: “I believe that this conduct may be inappropriate for [an] investigative team to be shredding paperwork related to the investigation and you may want to investigate why BOP employees are destroying records.”

“Can we take a look at the Dumpster ASAP to see if the paper is still there? Possible they didn’t dump it yet,” replied one of the federal agents.

But it was already too late. The trash was picked up that very morning.

These developments expose the same bureaucratic stonewalling and selective transparency that has shielded powerful figures tied to Epstein’s network. While some claim simple incompetence, the coordinated destruction of records right under the noses of investigators screams intent to bury connections that could implicate elites.

The Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem condemns the ‘manipulation’ of the divine name as the U.S. Secretary of War quotes Scripture to justify global bloodshed.

The highest-ranking Catholic official in the Holy Land has issued a blistering attack on the Trump administration's rhetoric. Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, labeled the invocation of God's name to justify a war with Iran as the "gravest sin" of the modern era.

The rebuke directly targets U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. A Vatican News report confirmed the Cardinal's comments were a defiant response to Hegseth's recent press briefing.

"The abuse and manipulation of God's name to justify this and any other war is the gravest sin we can commit at this time," Pizzaballa stated. The prelate argued these justifications are "manipulations" designed to serve political interests rather than faith.

THE SCRIPTURE SCANDAL

The controversy erupted after Hegseth quoted Psalm 144 to invoke divine favor for military action. The verse, which praises the Lord for "training my hands for war," has been weaponized by the Pentagon to fuel a dangerous escalation.

Report: Young Citizens’ Happiness Plummets in High-Migration Countries

Elite-directed mass migration has spiked stock values but has also helped cause citizens’ happiness to plummet—especially younger citizens’—in English-speaking countries, according to data from a new survey.

“Canada, Australia, the UK, and the USA all practiced defacto open borders, flooding their countries with foreigners,” noted political consultant Ryan Girdusky. Those “nations experienced a massive decline in happiness while that occurred,” he added.

The Oxford University “World Happiness Report” “draws on surveys by Gallup, a pollster, asking people to rate their lives” “on a zero to ten scale,” without mentioning migration.

The Economist reported:

Nearly twice as many countries have grown happier over the past two decades as have become less so. The English-speaking world is a clear exception: for the second year running, no country in the Anglosphere made the top ten.

The Economist article shows that since 2018, the high-migration United Kingdom fell from 15th to 29th place, Canada from 9th to 25th, New Zealand from 8th to 11th, and Australia from 11th to 25th.

Amid former President Joe Biden’s vast migration wave, the United States fell from 16th place in 2021 to 23rd in 2025.

The Economist report is titled “The Anglosphere is increasingly miserable: The World Happiness Report shows it diverging from the rest of the world.”

The Oxford report wants to blame the generalized happiness decline on social media and other trends. But average and youth happiness stayed steady in Latin America and East Asia, and actually rose in Poland and other Eastern European countries with little migration.

The Oxford report also includes a chapter titled “The Happiness Agenda: The Next 10 Year [sic].” The chapter does not mention migration or diversity.

The second feature in the survey is a faster drop in happiness among the young.

The Economist noted:

The divergence is starkest among the young. In most other parts of the world young people are at least as satisfied with their lives as they were a decade ago, if not more so. But among under-25s in America, Australia, Britain, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand, scores have fallen—placing all six among the biggest declines for this age group.

The split between old and young is to be expected because young people lose out from the arrival of migrants, while older people gain from the inflow of low-wage migrant workers in coffee houses, lawn services, and other amenities sought by the urban elderly. Older people also gain because stock markets swell with profits from lower wages, higher rents, and extra consumption.

Rising number of US troops oppose Iran war, refuse to 'die for Israel': Report

US soldiers say they have no protection from Iranian missiles and drones targeting US bases in the Gulf

More and more US troops deployed to West Asia are expressing doubts about fighting in the war against Iran, including having to “die for Israel,” the Huffington Post reported on 23 March.

A veteran and reservist who mentors younger officers told HuffPost that troops she speaks with are expressing a loss of faith after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu helped push US President Donald Trump to go to war against Iran.

“I’m hearing out of service members’ mouths the words, ’We do not want to die for Israel – we don’t want to be political pawns,” she said.

“I’ve shared conscientious objector information six times in the past two weeks, and I’ve been in the military almost 20 years – I’ve never had people reach out this way,” the first reservist continued.

Interviews with active-duty soldiers, reservists, and advocacy groups conducted by HuffPost found that many US troops expressed feeling vulnerable, overwhelming stress, frustration, and disillusionment to the extent that they wished to leave the military.

Interviews further revealed that troops are worried about inadequate protection from Iranian ballistic missiles and drones targeting US bases in the Gulf region.

“Getting random indirect fire is not the same as watching the entire gym and coffee shop and some dorms get blown up from a door less than 50 meters away,” said one service member.

Thirteen troops have been killed in the war so far, and at least 232 have been wounded.

White House officials are now speaking of launching a limited ground invasion to seize Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf.

Trump Goes Scorched Earth On Joe Kent, Suggesting Leak And Bringing Up Remarriage

President Trump said he is “not a fan” of former National Counterterrorism Center Director Joe Kent following Kent’s resignation and reports that the FBI is investigating him over allegations of leaking classified information.

Trump sharply criticized Kent in response to a question from The Daily Wire’s White House correspondent Mary Margaret Olohan, who is flying with him as part of the press pool, and portrayed him as ungrateful after being brought into the administration.

“Look, I’m not a fan of the guy,” Trump said, adding that he felt bad for Kent after his wife’s death and losing two Congressional races. “I said, ‘Call him up, give him a job in the White House,’ and this is what he does.”

A source familiar with the matter told The Daily Wire that federal authorities are probing whether Kent improperly shared classified material. The investigation comes just days after Kent stepped down from his post in protest of the Trump administration’s military campaign against Iran’s Islamic regime.

“I hear they’re looking at him for leaking. That’s possible,” Trump said.

Trump also brought up Kent’s personal life, noting that after his wife’s death, “he remarried fairly quickly.”

In his resignation letter, Kent argued that Iran “posed no imminent threat to our nation” and claimed the conflict was driven by “pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”

“Iran’s been a threat for 47 years, and there’s not a country in the world that doesn’t agree with me on that,” Trump said. “I never knew he had a problem.”

Last week, Vice President JD Vance echoed the administration’s stance, emphasizing that officials are expected to support presidential decisions once they are made.

“Whatever your view is, when the President of the United States makes a decision, it’s your job to make that decision as effective and successful as possible,” Vance said. “If you are on the team and you cannot help implement the decisions of his administration … then it’s a good thing for you to resign.”

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard also raised concerns about Kent’s public comments blaming Israel for the war. When asked by Rep. Elise Stefanik whether the remarks were troubling, Gabbard replied, “Yes.”

In a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing last week, CIA Director John Ratcliffe directly contradicted Kent.

“I think Iran has been a constant threat to the United States for an extended period of time and posed an immediate threat,” he said.

Since leaving the administration, Kent has appeared on podcasts hosted by Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, where he has continued to argue that the war with Iran does not serve American interests and has sought to rally opposition among conservative audiences.

Following his departure, people in Trump’s orbit accused him of leaking, with one calling him a “crazed egomaniac.”

“Joe Kent is a crazed egomaniac who was often at the center of national security leaks, while rarely (never?) producing any actual work,” said Taylor Budowich, the former deputy White House chief of staff. “He spent all of his time working to subvert the chain of command and undermine the President of the United States.”

Paedophile migrant who failed to disclose child sex offence after coming to UK wins appeal against deportation as judge rules it was 'honest mistake'

A paedophile migrant who failed to disclose his conviction for molesting a five-year-old to UK authorities has won the right to fight against his deportation.

An immigration judge ruled Edi Cardoso Ramos, 29, made an 'honest mistake' when he did not mention his criminal past while applying for leave to remain in the UK.

He had been convicted of a 'serious sexual offence' against a five-year-old in his home country of Portugal for which he received a three-year suspended sentence.

His sordid past only came to light when Ramos was caught in the UK with a prostitute and a police background check uncovered the conviction, prompting the Home Office to start deportation proceedings.

But Ramos has now successfully appealed against his deportation, after a judge accepted that he had misunderstood an official form asking about his previous convictions and concluding that 'the threat he represents is not a present threat'.

Georgia House Committee Quietly Removes Key Section of IT Expert’s Public Comment on Critical Voting Machine Vulnerabilities

During a hearing in the Georgia legislature on March 17th, 2026, a 40-year IT professional testified during public comment and offered to show the committee evidence of vulnerabilities in the election software they use.

Mark Cook, who testified as an expert witness in Tina Peters’ trial in 2024, used his time during public comment to offer evidence to the Georgia House Governmental Affairs Committee as they considered a Georgia election bill.

The online recording of the hearing that includes public comment contains the following from Cook:

“I have evidence right here, that I was hoping to show you, that can show that there are absolutely, and I know you guys have heard this, but I’ve got the proof right here, backdoors built-in to electronic voting systems that allow flipping, changing of votes. The testing labs all missed this. Then they’re blindly certified. Then we’re told that everything is safe and secure. It’s absolutely not.”

Mysteriously, according to the timestamp shown in the top right corner, Cook’s public comment at one point goes from 1:02:18 to 1:02:29 instantly. A cut in the testimony appears to have been made to his public comment.

Fortunately, Cook’s public comment was also recorded. The following statement in bold was removed from Cook’s public comment:

Donald Trump and the Downfall of the American Empire?

Our war against Iran is now three weeks old and the Trump Administration has apparently reached the point of total desperation.

The best proof of this came late Friday when Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that America would assist Iran in obtaining a massive inflow of additional funding for its war machine, thereby supporting Iranian efforts to kill American servicemen. Although reported in the New York Times, few have apparently noticed this bizarre development, or at least it has hardly received the attention it warranted.

The backstory was ironic. Soon after winning the White House in 2016, Trump tore up the existing American nuclear agreement with Iran, an agreement that imposed strict international monitoring to guarantee that the enrichment activities were solely for civilian purposes and could not be used to produce a nuclear weapon. Reneging upon the solemn treaty that our country had signed, Trump instead began imposing severe economic sanctions, intending to strangle Iran’s economy and prevent anyone from buying its oil.

Given America’s control over the existing dollar-based world financial system, this effort was largely successful and over the years these sanctions were steadily tightened, greatly reducing the oil sales that were the main source of Iran’s foreign exchange income. Eventually, nearly all of Iran’s oil was going to China while the only Chinese companies willing to buy it were refiners so small that they were not much impacted by American financial retaliation.

So during 2025 Trump boasted that he was strangling Iran, and to a considerable extent this was true. With Iran unable to sell much of its oil, the surplus was parked at sea in leased oil tankers until a buyer could somehow be found.

But this economic strangulation eventually proved too slow a process for our impatient president, and at the end of last month, he joined Israel in launching an all-out military attack on Iran, killing its top leadership and beginning a massive bombardment campaign that he was confident would end the war in total victory within just a few days.

For decades, the Iranians had warned that if their country were attacked by America, they would retaliate by closing the Strait of Hormuz to the tanker traffic of the Persian Gulf, and for decades all our intelligence and military analysts had confirmed that they would probably do exactly that. The loss of those energy supplies would produce global economic devastation, with America suffering along with everyone else. Therefore, all previous presidents had firmly resisted massive political pressure from Israel and the Israel Lobby for an American attack on Iran.

Trump, however, was made of sterner stuff. Although he had been warned of the dire global consequences of an Iranian blockade of that vital waterway, he was confident that the risks were negligible. After all, he and his Israeli partners would quickly win the war, forcing a total Iranian surrender within just a few days, long before any loss of oil traffic would have any impact.

Food shortages return to Gaza as Israel tightens aid restrictions under the cover of its war on Iran

Israel’s tightened restrictions on the entry of aid into Gaza since the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran have led to shortages of basic necessities and an astronomical rise in prices, raising fears of a return to famine.

In late February, the Israeli government ordered the total closure of all border crossings into Gaza as the Iran war started, which included cutting off food and humanitarian aid. Prices immediately skyrocketed, further exacerbated by people flooding markets to stock up on necessities in anticipation of eventual shortages.

On March 3, Israel began allowing small quantities of food into the Strip through the Karam Abu Salem crossing in the south, while the Rafah crossing with Egypt and the Zikim crossing in the north have both remained closed. Yet the number of trucks allocated to enter in a single day — over 200 carrying dairy products, soft drinks, fruits, vegetables, chocolate, frozen food, cookies, and cakes — was spread across the first two weeks of March. Between March 1 and March 10, a total of 214 trucks entered, effectively reducing the daily count to 40-50 trucks.

On March 6, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reported that the closure of the crossings raised concerns about “the availability of humanitarian supplies and services, and private sector goods.”

The closures have not only affected the entry of aid, fuel, and commercial supplies, but also extend to the “coordination of humanitarian movements in and near areas where Israeli troops remain deployed, medical evacuations, the return of residents from abroad, and the rotation of humanitarian staff in and out of the coastal enclave,” according to OCHA.

Al-Lahham says the most immediate effect has been on the cost of all essential commodities, with local merchants raising prices soon after the war began, sensing that their products would soon disappear from the market.

Al-Lahham recounts that when he walks through the markets, his aim is to find one type of vegetable and one type of animal protein, either chicken or meat. That would be enough for the iftar meal during Ramadan. But on most days, he comes back empty-handed after making several rounds through the market. The markets themselves are sparse, and what is available is prohibitively expensive. On a typical day, he might be able to find green onions and parsley, enough to add some color to a dish.

Munis Abu Jazar, a worker at Helmi Barbakh Trading Company, says that an important reason for the dramatic rise in prices is past experience. Last Ramadan, Gazans were experiencing famine (which was later officially declared by the world’s leading famine-monitoring body). This Ramadan, once Israel announced the closure of the crossings, there was a panicked rush to the markets.

“The increase in demand drove up prices,” Abu Jazar tells Mondoweiss. “People began hoarding food supplies to ensure they’d be able to find food, especially during Ramadan.”

Abu Jazar says there are still goods in warehouses that have not yet run out, but the ongoing demand is keeping prices from falling. If the crossings remain closed, supplies are projected to run out within weeks.

"Leadership Would Like Your Help": Indian Billionaire Tapped Jeffrey Epstein Before Modi's Visits to U.S. and Israel

New Department of Justice documents reveal Epstein’s direct role in fostering ties between Indian, Israeli, and U.S. elites.

Documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday reveal previously unreported details about financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s role as a backroom power broker amid the rapid strengthening of India-Israel ties in 2017.

Epstein connected an Indian billionaire close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak ahead of the first ever trip by an Indian PM to Israel. Days later, that billionaire, Anil Ambani, told Epstein after a visit to Delhi that “Leadership” wanted Epstein’s help for Ambani to meet “jared and Bannon asap,” and requested his “assistance” regarding Modi’s upcoming meeting with Trump.

Modi’s landmark visit to Israel in 2017 helped accelerate the burgeoning relationship between the three countries. Afterward, Epstein celebrated in an email that Modi had “danced and sang in Israel for the benefit of the US president.”

On Saturday, the Indian government responded to the revelations about Modi’s visit to Israel in Epstein’s communications. “We have seen reports of an email message from the so-called Epstein files that has a reference to the Prime Minister and his visit to Israel,” said a statement by India’s foreign affairs ministry. “Beyond the fact of the Prime Minister’s official visit to Israel in July 2017, the rest of the allusions in the email are little more than trashy ruminations by a convicted criminal, which deserve to be dismissed with the utmost contempt.”

What the Indian government did not address, however, was that individuals in Modi’s orbit had long been engaging with Epstein as a trusted intermediary on a wide range of diplomatic and economic issues. The story below makes some of those connections.

Global cybercrime crackdown: over 373 000 dark web sites shut down

Authorities from 23 countries participate in the operation

On 9 March 2026, a global operation led by German authorities and supported by Europol was launched against one of the largest networks of fraudulent platforms in the dark web. The investigation began in mid-2021 against the dark web platform “Alice with Violence CP”. During the investigation, authorities discovered that the platform’s operator was running more than 373 000 fraudulent websites advertising child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and cybercrime-as-a-service (CaaS) offerings.

From 9 to 19 March 2026, 23 countries joined forces in 'Operation Alice,' which initially only targeted the platform operator. However, through international cooperation, the investigation uncovered the identities of 440 customers who had used the operator's services. Due to the nature of the purchases, additional investigations were launched against them. The operation is still ongoing against more than a hundred of those individuals.

Results of Operation Alice

So far, Operation Alice has led to the following results:

1 perpetrator operating the dark web platform identified;

440 customers worldwide identified;

Over 373 000 dark web websites shut down;

105 servers seized;

Electronic devices seized, including computers, mobile phones and electronic data carriers.

Stopping child abuse and supporting victims

The fight against child sexual exploitation is a priority for Europol. Alongside the support provided by the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) to Member States in preventing and detecting crimes linked to the sexual exploitation of children, Europol is currently running two major projects in this area.

This week, Europol released new photos to the platform 'Stop Child Abuse – Trace an Object', which calls on all citizens to examine objects from child sexual abuse cold cases and see if they recognise any of them. No clue is too small: even the smallest detail could help identify and safeguard a sexually abused child.

Additionally, a new digital platform, Help4U, was launched in November 2025 to support children and teenagers facing sexual abuse or online harm. Designed to be simple, private and accessible, Help4U helps young people find trusted advice, understand their rights and connect with people who can help them.
