In my town the school taxes alone are 200 million, that's right, for 55k people in town. If an elementary school has 2 teachers, teaching a grade, then there are 12 teachers per elementary. 2 elementary schools make up one junior high, so 24 teachers, and two junior high schools make up one high school, equaling 48 teachers. If we double that for substitutes, janitors, lunch ladies, office workers, we still only get less than 100. To run utilities and buses, lets double that cost equivalent, which we know is not even close to being equal, we can say that there are 200 entities. 200,000,000 / 200 = $1,000,000 per entity. The school system is the largest rip off of tax payer dollars this country has ever known. I did not include the other 30 million out of the total 230 million, for cops, sanitation, and 3 librarians. Do the math, someone with authority.
