Washington’s remarks have served as an inspiration for American isolationism, andhis advice against joining a permanent alliance was heeded for more than a century and a half.

What happened at LaGuardia airport washorrifying and preventable. The incident wasn’t some bolt of lightning out of the blue. Sadly, all the warning signs have been there for everybody to see.A new report reveals that close calls were already piling up.The system was already about to break. Whatyou thought was disastrous is even worse than you imagined.

What this latest chilling updateshows is that the LaGuardia crash wasn’t a surprise. As a matter of fact, some might call it destiny.

Ourentire airline industry has been flashing neon red danger signs for years. There have been a lot of serious runway incidents, near collisions, congestion, communication problems, staffing issues, and controller overload. All of thishas been building up while the people in charge kept pretending DEI was the way of the future.

They were wrong. Dead wrong.

You can’t remove excellence out of a life-and-death industry and replace it with politics, charity, and mediocrity and expect everything to run like a finely oiled machine. And that’s the real story here, and this new report from WSJ makes that painfully clear.

The first thing you need to understand is thatLaGuardia wasn’t some one-off freak event. The Journal reports that there’s been ascary patternof serious runway danger in recent years.

Between 2021 and 2025, there have been 26 runway incidentsthat the Federal Aviation Administration considers the most serious type where a collision was narrowly avoided, according to federal data that covers both commercial and private flights. The Sunday collision between an Air Canada regional jet into an emergency truck at New York’s LaGuardia Airport is the tragedy aviation authorities have sought to prevent.

Authorities knew this kind of tragedy was looming. The red flags were flying everywhere.

These incidents were actually part of a bigger issue that had already been piling up.

WSJ:

Another52 runway incidentshad “a significant potential for collision,” data show. Those two categories of incidents were down in 2024 and 2025 compared with prior years, after a spate of alarming close calls at airports in Austin, Texas, New York and Boston in 2023.

So even when the numbers dipped a bit, the problem didn’t go away. A system can’t survive close call after close call without catastrophe happening.Just look at how bad things are…

There was a close call at Newark Liberty International Airport last week, when an Alaska Air plane flew over a FedEx freighter when both were attempting to land on crossing runways at the same time.

One week it’s a close call. The next week it’s a deadly crash. That’s why they can no longer treat each incident like it’s a separate mishap.There’s a pattern forming here, and it’s something we warned about years ago. But we’ll get to that shortly. In the meantime, the Journal says Sunday’s crash is basically a national reckoning over aviation safety.

WSJ:

Sunday’s accident comes at a moment of reckoning for U.S. aviation safety, long viewed as the global gold standard. Last year’s midair collision of an American Airlines regional jet and a military helicopter over the Potomac River killed 67 people.

The so-called gold standard is wobbling, and Americans can see it.

And now here’s one of the most disturbing bits in the whole report, because it points at the kind of operational breakdown that causes mishaps and death.

WSJ:

A preliminary analysis of air-traffic control audio suggests the same controller cleared the jet to land and simultaneously authorized the firetruck to cross the taxiway, according to two audio forensic experts interviewed by The Wall Street Journal. The controller later radioed commands for the truck to stop.

If the same controller cleared the landing and also authorized the truck to cross, then we are staring straight at the kind of simplified human mistake that simply can’t happen in a field this critical.

And this is where our earlier reporting comes in, because years ago we already laid out the entire blueprint of this decline… and we named names: Barack Hussein Obama.

When a system starts breaking down, when the close calls pile up, when staffing gets thinner, when standards get softer,and when hiring in a life-and-death field gets twisted around politics instead of excellence, the consequences are deadly. It is hard to overstateNASA’s emphasis on “diversity, inclusion and equity” over any actual achievements in recent history.

In July 2010, President Obama’s NASA Chief Charles Bolden told Al-Jazeera:

When I became the NASA administrator, [President Obama] charged me with three things.

One, he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships;and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math and engineering.

Note the word “foremost.” The head of NASA was told by the US President that his foremost task was to make foreign citizens, of racially and religiously preferred backgrounds, artificially “feel good” about their own STEM field contributions.

The 2016 NASA Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Implementation Plan made sure there was no escape from racial and gender diversity quotasand thedismantling of merit hiring and promotion standards, both internally and across NASA’s contractors.

In 2018, NASA’s “Strategic Plan” repeatedly framed hitting its diversity quotas and dismantling merit as critical to “addressing national challenges” and “optimizing capabilities.” No “strategic analysis,” however, appeared to be done on how artificial diversity at the cost of competence and cohesion was supposed to translate into unity and strength, rather than incompetence and division.

Most recently, this summer, in June 2021, NASA launched “Mission Equity”:

NASA this week launched a new “equity” mission to recruit people from more diverse backgrounds— but it was quickly derided online as an unnecessary woke step toward “critical space theory.”

The space agency launched its“Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities in NASA Programs, Contracts and Grants”program on Tuesday, sharing a video of staffers of varying racial backgrounds delivering the new inclusive message.

“At NASA, we’re on a mission of equity, launching opportunity… to reach those we’ve never reached before … To shatter boundaries and break down barriers across America,” the staffers say.

What Brazil did to Jair Bolsonaro is what the Biden regime wanted to do to Donald Trump. They wanted to bury him under politicized prosecutions, drag him through a maze of lawfare, and make sure he never had a real shot at returning to power. The latest report suggests Bolsonaro’s medical condition has improved, and the regime appears to be preparing to move him out of prison.

The news of the far-right leader’s improvement came hours after Brazil’s attorney general paved the way for him to be put in house imprisonment instead of being returned to jail.

Bolsonaro, who governed between 2019 and 2022, is serving a 27-year sentence for leading a coup attempt in 2023.

Dr. Brasil Caiado told reporters in Brasiliathat there’s no established date for Bolsonaro to be discharged. The former president was hospitalized on March 13 after feeling ill at the Papuda penitentiary in the Brazilian capital. Three days later, the 71-year-old was put in semi-intensive care.

The embattled ex-leader was transferred from the local federal police headquarters to a larger cell in January. His family and allies have repeatedly asked Brazil’s Supreme Court to allow him to carry out his sentence, which he began serving in November, under house arrest.

Attorney General Paulo Gonet agreed with Bolsonaro’s familyin a decision published earlier and suggested to Justice Alexandre de Moraes to send the former president home with an ankle monitor to serve his sentence.

Bolsonaro should have never been in this situation to begin with. And the fact that it took a serious illness and public pressure to move him toward house arrest tells you everything you need to know about how vindictive this entire scam is.

That request right there shows how much weight Darren’s voice carries in the debate surrounding Bolsonaro’s lawfare case.

But now, new breaking reports coming out ofBrazil say the current regime has stepped in and blocked Darren’s meeting.

Judge Alexandre de Moraes was among the first to step in and block the meeting,which had already been approved.
