It is imperative to have unmanned tracked vehicles and aerial drones, lead the way, should we take Kharg Island. Most likely they have rigged the area with land and underwater mines, road side bombs (which they are notorious for), and other traps. Followed by Apaches and A10's monitoring out in the Straits and if we could, Patriot Battery and THAADS across the Straits in neighboring Gulf states. We also need machine pods on top of the mountain as a first defense against incoming drones and ballistic missiles, as soon as the Island is cleared. There is a good chance that the enemy has many underground facilities on the Island and on shore. Mountain ranges may be rigged too or they may have in certain places tunneled through the mountains and camouflaged it. We are praying for you all. Godspeed Patriots!!!
