What strikes me is that it isn't headed by a doJ figure. Trump has removed the fraud investigation from the DOJ, Not Bondi, not Blanche, VP and FCC chair.
There is some reason he needs to keep Bondi as AG. I don't know what it is but giving this to Vance and the guy from the FCC is about as clear a sign as I have seen that he doesn't think Bondi/DOJ can/will do the job.
