He was given Pence as a reminder that the establishment was still in charge. He has since proven them wrong. They all work for him now. It is glorious.

You won't be voting for Pence, you'll be voting for Trump. The VP is powerless and all but meaningless. The Constitution made sure of that.
Uh, no. Pence is in till his current term ends. He can absolutely pick a new VP for the next election, but at that point, Trump is actually "fired," too.
Fortunately, we the people are more than likely to direct the EC to re-hire Trump.
