I was recently in the hospital. The food was hands down the worst hospital food I've ever had.
It came in to go boxes, the ones you can crimp down the foil lids.
Ice cold. No attempt made to even warm them up.
The food was dried out and I felt more like I was getting leftovers rather than fresh food.
The sad part was this hospital only has 25 beds.
How hard is it to cook for 25 people?
Rumor has it, the food is cooked in the big hospital 200 miles away and shipped to the rural hospitals.
I threw 90% of it straight into the trash can.
