SpaceX's monster IPO is unlike anything we've seen

SpaceX is preparing to launch the largest IPO of all time — with expectations that it could raise more than all U.S. listings in 2024 and 2025.

Why it matters: Wall Street is understandably giddy. But what it's about to pitch investors is unprecedented, and could impact how (or if) OpenAI and Anthropic go public later this year.

Here are four waysthis IPO is different from all others:

1. Size: SpaceX reportedly wants to raise around $75 billion at a $1.75 trillion valuation.

• For context, the entire U.S.IPO market only raised more money in two of the past 10 years.

• It also will seek to become thefirst company to ever go public at a valuation of $1 trillion or more, with hopes of immediately being worth more than Walmart, Exxon Mobil or Meta.

• Finally,Musk is said to be reserving up to 30% of the offering for individual investors — three times the norm.

2. Flux capacity: SpaceX has been around for decades, but the version going public is a newly formed conglomerate.

• Elon Musk recently merged xAI into SpaceX, after having previously merged X (fka Twitter) into xAI(whose 11 cofounders have all left).

• No one really knows if the combinations will work, and it's too early for there to be much evidence in either direction. Let alone if SpaceX's plan for one million orbital data centers — which seems to be Musk's grand vision —is viable.

IPO investors always get access to a couple years of past financial performance but, in this case, it's relatively irrelevant.

3. X factor: Elon Musk himself. And not just the part about him seeking to simultaneously run two of the world's most valuable companies.

• Musk hasn't been part of an IPO since Tesla in 2010. At the time, he was fairly quiet on social media. In fact, his first-ever tweet was just a couple of weeks earlier.

• Today'sMusk may struggle to comport with rules about what company insiders can and can't say once the IPO process begins. For example, Google's IPO was almost waylaid by comments its cofounders made in a Playboy interview.

• On the other hand, the current Securities & Exchange Commission is lax when it comes to enforcement, and Musk is (usually) friendly with the boss' boss. Plus, there are reports that the two sides are preparing to settle a dispute over Musk's alleged violation of securities law in 2022.

4. Red ink:We don't yet know SpaceX's overall financials, and its initial IPO filing is likely to be confidential.

• What we're fairly certain of,however, is that its xAI unit (sans X/Twitter) is hemorrhaging money. Just like other large foundation models that are scaling by spending on GPUs.

Investors may not care, believing all things AI are up and to the right, but this would be the first major market test.

He’s absolutely right, I’ve only been in the hospital 2 times in my life. Even trying to eat that crap was not better then a homeless kitchen, which is better than hospitals, at least they have fresh donated food.

I think hospitals think the people are so sick they won’t even notice they are 4th tier food that is not made for humans to eat.

But imo, the Nurses on duty at night are worse than the food. As I was being checked out by a day nurse, I told her how horrible night shift were. Night shift laughed and shouted all night and wouldn’t even come to the room if you pushed the button for immediate attention. I had to drag my IV with me to the desk in the middle of the night to get help.

And I was on the infectious disease floor, turns out I didn’t have an infectious disease. And that was 15 years ago. I’m sure it much worse today.

I wonder if they asked Trump of they should buy them. He might have said, you can test them out, but also said, Zelensky can’t be trusted, he makes everything a mess.

To me, there is some big trap to get Zelensky and expose him for the criminal that he is. The Gulf countries have high standards. We’ll see what happens. He is now making millions or more on this war, is he arming the Iranians too?

US made ‘interesting offers’ to Russia – Kremlin aide

Washington’s overtures concern the Ukraine peace process that has effectively been on hold since February, according to Yuri Ushakov

Published 29 Mar, 2026 20:03 |

The US has made “interesting offers” to Russia regarding the Ukraine peace process, although it has effectively been paused in recent weeks, President Vladimir Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov has said.

Moscow and Kiev have for months been engaged in US-mediated negotiations, having held two meetings in a trilateral format in Abu Dhabi in January followed by talks in Geneva in mid-February.

However, the ongoing US-Israeli aggression against Iran and Tehran’s retaliatory strikes on American bases across the Middle Easthave disrupted the next round of negotiations in the United Arab Emirates that had originally been slated for early March.

Speaking to Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin on Sunday,Ushakov stated that the US “voiced a number of fairly interesting, I would say, useful ideas and offers” vis-à-vis the Ukraine peace process. “But those are not being realized so far,” the Kremlin aide added.

Ushakov noted thatat the end of the day, Russia lives by the motto “trust, but verify”when it comes to international relations.

Earlier this month, Moscow said the trilateral format aimed at resolving the Ukraine conflict should continue, since all sides are interested in putting an end to the hostilities.

In early March, Russia and Ukraine exchanged 500 prisoners of war each, with US special envoy Steve Witkoff saying the swap had been agreed during the last round of talks in Abu Dhabi.

He added at the time thatthe exchange served as proof that “sustained diplomatic engagement is delivering tangible results.”

Meanwhile, on Thursday, adelegation of Russian lawmakers met with a bipartisan group of their US counterparts at the invitation of US Representative Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican from Florida.

“As representatives of the world’s two greatest nuclear super powers, we owe our citizens open dialogue, ideas, and open lines of communication,” Luna said in a post on X after the talks at the Donald Trump Institute of Peace in Washington.

The head of the Russian delegation, Vyacheslav Nikonov, said the meeting went “better than expected,” adding that restoring contacts between the two nations’ legislatures was now “possible.”

(Now I wonder if Luna is working with Trump to reconnect because of the Russia, Russia Russia Hoax derailed the real relationship the US and Russia could have had. PS Russia never speaks like that, they are always very reserved and cautious. Maybe Trumps separation from EU, NATO countries opened up real legitimate dialogue?)

Moscow expels UK diplomat for was spying

The second secretary of the British Embassy has been given two weeks to leave the country, the FSB has said

Published 30 Mar, 2026 09:40 |

A British diplomat in Moscow has been stripped of his accreditation and ordered to leave the countryafter conducting “intelligence and subversive activities” under the cover of his embassy post, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has announced.

The officer, identified as Albertus Gerardus Janse van Rensburg, served as second secretary at the UK Embassy in Moscow.According to an FSB statement released on Monday, the diplomat deliberately provided false information when applying for entry permission, thereby violating Russian law.

The FSB alsosaid it had “recorded attempts to obtain sensitive information during informal meetings with Russian expertsin the field of economics.” The agency concluded that van Rensburg was engaged in activities “threatening the security of the Russian Federation.”

The diplomat has been given two weeks to leave the country.

The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned theUK’s charge d’affaires, Danae Dholakia, to officially lodge a protest. In a brief appearance outside the ministry building, Dholakia was seen arriving with van Rensburg before entering without commenting to journalists.

The expulsion of the British diplomat comesafter London announced last week that it would cooperate with other European NATO members to “close off UK waters, including the [English] Channel, for sanctioned vessels,” threatening to seize ships it believes to be part of an alleged Russian ‘shadow fleet’.

Moscow has denied operating a shadow fleet and has condemned the “deeply hostile step,” accusing the UK of planning to carry out “acts of piracy.”

Russian cultural center in Prague attacked with Molotov cocktails(VIDEO)

Unidentified assailants targeted the Russian House in the Czech capital in what Moscow has labeled a terrorist attack

Published 27 Mar, 2026 09:37 |

The Russian House cultural center in the Czech capital of Prague was attacked with Molotov cocktails on Thursday evening, in what Moscow has labeled a “terrorist attack.”

The facility’s director, Igor Girenko, told RTthat the attackers appeared to target the windows of the building’s library, noting that three of the six incendiary bottles thrown failed to explode. “It’s hard to imagine what the consequences would have been if these inhumane men had succeeded.”

Girenko suggested that the timing of the attack was “no coincidence,” noting that the final event of the Russian Culture Days festival was scheduled for Thursday.

Only inhuman creatures would target culture! We are well acquainted with their habits and signature,” the Russian House director said. He also thanked local law enforcement and firefighters who arrived at the scene within minutes.

“We believe this crime will not go unsolved, and that those responsible will receive a harsh and just punishment,” Girenko added.

Meanwhile, Pavel Shevtsov, the deputy head of the state Rossotrudnichestvo cultural exchange agency which operates the cultural center, told RIA Novosti thatthe incident is being treated as a “terrorist attack against our Rossotrudnichestvo center, against Russian property,” adding that thiswas “a planned, targeted attack.”

Shevtsov said Rosssotrudnichestvo, with assistance of the Russian Embassy, is in contact with the local authorities to find and bring to justice those responsible for the attack.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has also condemned the attack, describing it in a statement to TASS as “barbaric.”

The Czech authorities have confirmed that they are investigating the attack, noting that the assailant who fled from the scenecould face up to three years in prison.

Most Russians believe in supernatural creatures – poll

Over 80% of Russians say spirits and saints exist, and 85% have practiced magic rituals, a VCIOM report suggests

Published 28 Mar, 2026 09:34 |

Around 81% of Russians believe in the existence of at least one supernatural being, while the overwhelming majority have engaged in some form of mystical practice during their lifetime, the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) reports.

The survey, which encompassed 1,600 adults and was published on Friday, foundthat two-thirds of respondents (66%) believe in saints or higher powers protecting people in danger or in battle.

More than half (57%) believe in spirits or deities that protect military personnel; 50%say they believe in ‘Domovoy’, a household guardian spirit, and48% believe in protective spirits for children and animals. Only22% believe in mermaids and nymphs. (KEK

Russians also tend to accept various mystical and magical practices; 85% of respondents say they have tried at least one; 59% have visited sacred healing springs, 52% have consulted horoscopes or astrologers, 37% have tried fortune-telling, 36% have worshiped at sacred sites, and 25% have worn talismans or amulets tied to spirits or natural forces.

Belief in supernatural entities rises sharply with age; 93% of those 60 and over accept at least one supernatural being, compared to 65% for 25-34-year-olds. Engagement with magical practices, however, remains broadly consistent across generations – ranging from 80-88%.

Commenting on the results, Maria Grigorieva, a senior expert at VCIOM’s Department of Political Research, linked them to the ongoing geopolitical instability and uncertainty about the future.

“Superstitions are a universal psychological mechanism –they reduce the stress of uncertainty, the main source of anxiety. The less control people have over their lives, the stronger the belief,” she said.

She added that Russia’scurrent geopolitical and economic pressures are “intensifying anxiety, provoking a surge in mysticism” – with more people turning to fortune-tellers, horoscopes, and belief in spirits and home guardians.

According to Grigorieva, faith serves as a psychological shield, particularly amid ongoing military threats.

Fugitive captured after eight years in Russian taiga(VIDEO)

The manchose to live off-grid in a forest instead of doing a year of community service

Published 26 Mar, 2026 15:

Russian lawenforcement officers have detained a man who spent eight years hiding in the taiga in Karelia, east of Finland,to evade a non-custodial sentence. He had been placed on the federal wanted listafter failing to report for a one-year community service term for a minor offense.

According to a statement released on Thursday, officers from the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Interior Ministry arrested the 50-year-old suspect, identified only as ‘Citizen F.’, by chance.

Investigators saidthe man fled into a forested area in the Prionezhsky District in October 2018 after failing to report to serve his sentence. For years, officers pursued leads and even tracked distant relatives in neighboring regions, but were unable to locate him.

The fugitive reportedlyavoided detection by living deep in the forest entirely off-grid, without a phone, bank cards, or identification, and by cutting all contact with relatives and acquaintances. He built makeshift shelters, cooked over an open fire, drew water from a nearby river, andscavenged food and clothing from garbage dumps in nearby settlements, visiting them only at night.

Authorities eventually discoveredhis forest hideoutafter tracking him during one of his supply runs.

A Telegram post announcing the arrest included police footage of the site, showing several structures built from construction debris, with no heating beyond an open fire– despite theregion’s harsh subarctic conditions. In the footage, officers accompany Citizen F.as he gives a tour of his camp, pointing out a separate kitchen, sleeping area, and storage spaces filled with scavenged== items such as cookware, blankets, clothes, and even furniture.

The man has been taken to a police station for questioning. It remains unclear whether he will face additional chargesor be required to serve his original sentence.

Merz rules out Taurus missiles for Ukraine

Kiev no longer needs the long-range weaponsnow that it can produce its own, the German chancellor has said

Published 26 Mar, 2026 14:

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has ruled out sending long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, arguing that Kiev no longer needs them after developing its own domestically produced weapons.Instead, he has called for more money to be sent to Ukraine.(are all those EU leaders making buck on the business’s created by Z during the war to pay the oligarchs.)

Answering questions in parliament on Wednesday, Merz said the debate over Taurus missiles – which have a range of 500 km and can reach Moscow from Ukrainian territory –is no longer relevant due to Ukraine’s progress in developing missiles.

“Today, Ukraine itself has long-range weapons in its depots, which it has built itself, partly with our help, and which are significantly more effective than the relatively small number of Taurus cruise missileswe could have delivered,” Merz told lawmakers.

The chancellor noted that when he first advocated for sending the missiles while in the opposition,he assumed the armed forces had enough operational stockpiles to share. Since taking office last May, however, he has backed away from this.

Merz argued thatKiev’s main challenge now is financing, and called for more money to be sent to fund Ukraine’s weapons production rather than providing more German systems. The chancellor previously pledged €11.5 billion ($13.2 billion) in military aid for Ukraine for 2026.

His remarkscome amid a broader shift in Western support. TheUS, once Ukraine’s largest backer, has scaled back aid under President Donald Trump, with Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth statingthis month that weapons are now “better spent in our own interests.”

Meanwhile, aseries of corruption scandals in Kiev, including a $100 million kickback scheme involving the state nuclear operator and a vote-buying ring among lawmakers, has fueled skepticism in Berlin and other European capitals.

Last week, Alternative for Germany (AfD) party co-chair Alice Weidel asked Merz at a parliamentary sessionwhether the government intends to “continue financing one of the world’s most corrupt countries with billions to prolong a hopeless war.”

A recent US watchdogreport found that $26 billion in USAID money sent to Ukraine lacked adequate oversight, with contractors failing to properly monitor the funds.

Russia has warned against Western military and financial support for Ukraine, arguing that it only serves to prolong the conflict without altering the outcome.

(I suspect the EU are getting dividends, because Zelenskyy stole all that money not to fight the war, but create various businesses to create war weapons and they joined him. I’m sure the EU is pleased in a big way, they will never admit how stupid they all are!)

Ukraine ‘on the verge of a financial catastrophe’ – senior MP

Kiev is failing to meet key reform commitments made to EU and Western institutions, putting further funding at risk, Daniil Getmantsev has said

Published 26 Mar, 2026 14:53 |

(At the end the EU will regret what they did.)

Ukraine is on the brink of a financial abyss, with billions in Western funding at riskdue to Kiev’s failure to implement key governance, judicial, and anti-corruption reforms, a senior lawmaker has warned.

Speaking to the Ukrainian parliament on Thursday, Daniil Getmantsev, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada’s Finance, Tax and Customs Committee, warned of mounting failures to meet obligations to the EU, IMF, and World Bank.

”In 2025,we failed to meet 14 indicators of the Ukraine Facility. And because of this, we did not receive €3.9 billion,” Getmantsev said. “Moreover, 300 million of that amount is being lost completely in the first quarter [as]we have already failed to meet 5 out of 5 indicators.”

Getmantsev was referring to the EU’s €50 billion mechanism, which acts as one of Ukraine’s core budget lifelines.Facility ties quarterly disbursements to 69 reforms covering rule of law, governance, financial stability, and anti-corruption.

The MP also warned thatfailing to pass four laws covering e-finance and railway transport would cost Ukraine $3.3 billionin World Bank financing. The $8.1 billion IMF credit lineis equally “on the verge of collapse,” he said, after Kiev failed to submit key tax legislation on time.

Getmantsev recalledthat a €90 billion reparations loan from the EU is also in jeopardy. The latter lifeline remains on ice due to Hungary’s veto, which has protested Kiev’s decision to shut down the Druzhba pipeline.

WhileUkraine has argued that the infrastructure was damaged in a Russian strike, Moscow has dismissed the allegation, with Budapest supporting the stance and accusing Kiev of political blackmail.

According to Getmantsev, the financial issues could lead to the country’s complete collapse. “We can lose the country like this… Today is not the time to hide from responsibility, not the time for populism, not the time to look for popular decisions…It is the time for systematic work, European integration, deregulation, pension reform, an audit of state expenditures, and bringing the economy out of the shadows,” he said. (He’ll be put in jail for some made up crimes.)

Ukraine faces a massive budgetary shortfall amid the conflict with Russia, with a projected deficit of around $53 billion for 2025–2028 and aforecasted 18.4% deficit in the 2026 budget.

Demand for exorcisms skyrocketing – US priest

There has been a 650% increase in the number of trained exorcists in the country, Father Chad Ripperger has said

Published 30 Mar, 2026 15:05 | Upd

The demand forexorcisms in the US has skyrocketed in recent years, leading to a significant increase in the number of priests trained to perform the ritual, a leading Catholic exorcist has revealed.

Speaking to the New York Post, Father Chad Ripperger of the Archdiocese of Denver stated that Itthe Catholic Church currently has around 150 priests in the US who can perform exorcisms. In 2020, there were only about 20 priests trained in the practice, marking a whopping 650% increase in just a few years.

However, Ripperger arguedthat the phenomenon reflects a rise in human sinfulness and occult involvement rather than an increase in demonic activity.

“The demons are empowered as more and more people commit evil deeds,” the priest said, pointing to voluntary engagement in Satanism or witchcraft as a key factor making individuals susceptible to demonic influence. At the same time, he noted that only “about 10% of cases are as dramatic as portrayed in Hollywood.”

Reverend Dan Todd, a trained exorcist in New Jersey, also told the New York Post that while “the devil is out there,” about 99% of cases are due to mental illness, adding that psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and dissociative identity disordercan often mimic demonic possession.

The surge in demands for exorcisms has become so pronounced that Pope Leo XIV convened a summit of the world’s most senior exorcists at the Vatican earlier this month. At the meeting, the International Association of Exorcistswarned the pontiff of a global rise in “occultism, esotericism, and Satanism” and called for every diocese worldwide to have trained exorcists.

More than 300 exorcists gathered last year for the 15th International Conference of Exorcists, reflecting what participants describe as a coordinated and expanding international ministry.

The trend has not been limited to the US. In Russia, the occult services market has recently balloonedto an estimated $24 billion annually, with Russians spending as much on “sorcerers” and fortune-tellers as on groceries.

The Russian Orthodox Church has warned against performing or seeking such rituals, demanding that Satanism be legally prohibited as well as the advertisement of “occult magic services.” Last year, the Russian Supreme Court officially banned the ‘International Satanist Movement’ as an extremist organization.
