The Brits and European are betting against the U.S. prevailing, or something bad happening to American capability and leadership. They're currying favor with Iran, undoubtedly for more favorable terms when energy trade resumes.
America should exit NATO, keep tariff pressure turned on blast, withdraw every service member along with whatever infrastructure can be carried off . Blow up what ever is left and salt the ground with long lived radioactive waste so they have hundreds of years to rue their mistakes.
