re: Trump TS post: NATO is done. Stick a fork in it!

By now everyone has seen the post. Most seem to highlight the first part. I would focus on a different part:You’ll have to start learning how to fight for yourself, the U.S.A. won’t be there to help you anymore, just like you weren’t there for us.

Combine this with the diplo-speak from Rubio saying that NATO will need to be "re-examined" and I think the message is clear. We're leaving NATO, good luck.

Martin Armstrong said quite a while ago on USAWatchdog (and has repeated it) that he had recommended to the Trump admin that they get us out of NATO and had been told in reply "we agree with you." IMO the Iran op was double edged, remove the threat of Iran, but also test NATO and if they failed give US an exit. They failed.

In another related tidbit Tino Chrupalla from AfD recently called for our troops to leave Germany. AfD is generally seen as pro-US, though this call is a long standing part of their platform.

Bottom line: IMO It will take a while yet but stick a fork in NATO, it's done.
