It's real estate. A work of art. I also heard the image reflects or even depicts Apollyon, or Abbadon or one of those freaks. It's a neat item but if it sank we'd still be "America".
It's worth "protecting", of course, but the physical object doesn't mean a lot to me. The spirit of Liberty transcends, and abides independently of symbols.
