Why are we in this war?

Trump ripped up the nuclear agreements concluded by Obama because he's a thin-skinned hypersensitive old queen who can't stand the idea of a deal being made without him, had bragged to his base for months that he could do better, and was encouraged in this belief by Netanyahu and MBS

Before the U.S. withdrawal, the IAEA and EU had confirmed in nine separate reports that Iran was fully complying with all its commitments

After destroying the deal for no reason other than spite and to flatter his own ego, Trump proceeded to immediately sanction Iran to the hilt

Iran understandably didn't want to change the deal which they themselves had argued over for years and only agreed to with heavy pressure from reformists

Trump effectively vindicated the extreme wing in Tehran and totally wrecked the moderate politicians who had expended significant political capital and trust in painstakingly persuading the extremists to sign up to the initial deal

After Trump gave the extremists every reason, Iran moved closer to weapons capability than it ever had under the agreement

During his subsequent "negotiations" Trump made constant, pathetic attempts to bully a people who simply don't respect or fear him.

As talks continued to go nowhere, he attacked them mid-negotiation with the help of Israel, the only effect of this is for Iran to break off negotiations entirely

After they agree to return to negotiations, Trump's genius tactic was to repeatedly threaten the use of force against people whose religious beliefs make a virtue of resistance to physical or worldly pain, as well as martyrdom

After failing abjectly where his predecessors succeeded, Trump chimped out again and murdered everyone who he was negotiating with, as well as a school full of children
