called Generation Jones. The guy you are responding to is dumb. Gen X used to be called just latchkey kids till I think Gen X was termed in the 90s due to a book don't remember by who. Xennials are the newest micro generation still raised in a era similar to Gen X but more tech and they were in college or graduating around 9-11

its not really inserting its carving it up more based upon what happened historically within that generation. I had to look up the 1960 thing but yup at one time that was the case. But it also depends where you were born as much as when you were born some more rural places might hold on to older ideas longer. The culture might not spread as much but Xenials are a thing now. Basically its like early vs late gen x but they are just naming the subsets now. I have more in common with late Gen X than early. different cultural memories.
