For clarification, the tomb of Peter the Apostle is in Rome. This is the shrine to Peter in southern Lebanon. Still a historical tragedy, but not the mausoleum (place of internment) of Peter. The 2,000 year old dating of this site is unverified and likely exaggerated (the minaret is supposedly 11th century).
