The long-suppressed deposition transcript of James “Jim” Watkins – owner and operator of 8kun (the free-speech bastion formerly known as 8chan, home of the Q drops) – was released, and it is pure fire. Dated June 6, 2022, this 80+ page grilling by the partisan witch-hunters was meant to paint 8kun as the “radicalization hub” behind January 6. Instead, Watkins delivered a masterclass in truth: QAnon is a fabricated smear job by George Soros-backed Media Matters, the 2020 election was stolen, January 6 was a massive peaceful protest of millions, and 8kun remains the last true platform for unfiltered research and speech.
This isn’t “conspiracy theory.” This is sworn testimony under oath from the man who runs the board where Q posted. The J6 Committee tried to trap him. He turned the tables.
THE SETUP: DEEP STATE VS. FREE SPEECH
The Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack dragged Watkins in via Webex. They wanted to link 8kun posts to “insurrection,” blame the platform for any rally-related talk, and smear Q research as domestic terrorism. Watkins, a U.S. Army veteran, former police reserve, and sole operator of Is It Wet Vet, Inc. (which owns 8kun), showed up with counsel and dropped red pills the entire time.
8kun’s model is simple and unbreakable: anonymous posting, no user accounts, volunteer board operators, and moderation ONLY for clear U.S. Code violations (child exploitation, etc.) – and even then, only when users flag it. No proactive censorship of “disinformation,” election talk, or “hate speech.” Watkins repeatedly hammered: “We are unmoderated… We are a blank piece of paper. We are the closest thing on the internet you could be to being what’s called, like, a common carrier.” No ads, no tracking, no publisher liability. The Committee’s fishing expedition for “coordination” of violence went nowhere.
