Apparently the C-130s carried the little birds into the rescue site.

A Lockheed MC-130 special operations tanker-transport aircraft can carry two AH-6 Little Birds in a near ready-to-fly configuration. In contrast, larger C-17 transport aircraft can carry at least five of these helicopters at a time.

The MH-6 Little Birds are designed with folding rotors and other features to allow personnel to roll them off larger aircraft and get them operational within minutes.

This capability was notably demonstrated during Operation Urgent Fury in 1983, where four C-130s transported six MH-6 and two AH-6s along with a company of Army Rangers and a Delta Force squadron to Grenada.

The aircraft's small size and ability to rapidly deploy make them ideal for commando raids and close air support in confined spaces where larger helicopters like the Black Hawk cannot fit.

What I find strange, is the grim reapers that were shot down.

Given that MQ-9 Reaper can carry weapons, and that the aircraft at the rescue site were attacked, it would seem obvious that the Grim Reapers attacked the US forces, but why?

Someone didn't want the operation to succeed, and that raises a very important question.

Who were they extracting?
