Israel bombs Tehran as Iranians taunt Trump

The IDF has released footage it says shows Israeli Air Force strikes on Iranian air defense systems, including video from a missile’s onboard camera capturing the moment of impact.

It said more than 130 air defense systems were “dismantled” in precise strikes directed by military intelligence.

Two people have been killed in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh region, including one in a drone attack on Deir Zahrani and another in Zibdin, Lebanon’s National News Agency has reported.

Additional air raids were reported in Ain Qana and Arab Salim, along with a drone strike in Nabatieh al-Fawqa, the agency said. At least 1,497 people have been killed and more than 4,600 wounded across Lebanon since fighting intensified in early March following cross-border clashes between Israel and Iran-aligned Hezbollah.

The IDF says it has struck a petrochemical facility in Shiraz, southern Iran, which it claims was used to produce key components for explosives and ballistic missiles, describing it as one of the last remaining such sites in the country.

The strike was part of a wider wave of air raids on Monday targeting Iranian infrastructure, the IDF said. It claimed that the facility produced nitric acid, a material used in explosives and missile development. Separately, the IDF said it hit a large ballistic missile launch site in northwestern Iran, from which it said dozens of missiles had been fired towards Israel, adding the site was struck while operatives and commanders were present.

The Israeli military says Iran has launched a ballistic missile attack targeting central Israel and the southern area of Eilat, a Red Sea resort city at Israel’s southern tip near the borders with Egypt and Jordan.
