Farage’s Reform UK calls for visa ban linked to slavery

The party’s home affairs spokesman says “enough is enough” after London admitted 3.8 million people from countries seeking compensation

Nigel Farage’s Reform UK would stop issuing visas to nationals from any country that demands slavery reparations from Britain, the party’s home affairs spokesman has announced, dismissing the compensation claims as “insulting.”

Speaking to The Telegraph, Zia Yusuf stated that a growing number of nations are seeking compensation for the UK’s historical role in the transatlantic slave trade, but are ignoring that Britain “made huge sacrifices to be the first major power to outlaw slavery and enforce this prohibition.”

Yusuf expressed outrage that over the past two decades, successive Conservative and Labour governments had issued 3.8 million visas to people from countries demanding reparations and also sent those nations £6.6 billion ($8.7 billion) in foreign aid.

Under Reform’s proposed ‘Reparations Lock’, the UK would halt the issuance of all new visas, including work, study, family, and visitor visas, to nationals of any country that formally demands reparations. The party has already pledged to scrap foreign aid for such nations.

“The United Kingdom is not an ATM for ethnic grievances of the past, and we will no longer tolerate being ridiculed on the world stage,” Yusuf said, stressing that “enough is enough.”

His comments come after the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution last month declaring the transatlantic slave trade “the gravest crime against humanity.” The measure, proposed by Ghana, urged countries to consider apologizing and contributing to a reparations fund. It passed with 123 votes in favor, including from Russia and China. The US, Israel, and Argentina voted against the measure while the UK was among 52 countries that abstained.

At least 17 countries have demanded reparations from Britain, including the Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, as well as Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Belize.

A 2023 report by a former International Court of Justice judge concluded that the UK alone owes more than $24 trillion in reparations to 14 Caribbean countries – a sum nearly seven times the size of the British economy. Of that sum, nearly $9.6tn is due to Jamaica, the study claimed.

The UK government had previously ruled out reparations, with Chancellor Rachel Reeves stating the country “cannot afford” the sums demanded. The Conservative opposition has also described reparations as a “scam.”

Sarkozy denies taking ‘a single cent’ from Gaddafi

The former French president has again rejected allegations that his 2007 campaign was bankrolled by Libya, as an appeals court re-examines the case

Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy has claimed that “not a single cent” from Muammar Gaddafi’s Libya found its way into his 2007 election campaign, at an appearance before a Paris appeals court on Tuesday.

He is appealing a five-year prison sentence handed down in 2025 after being found guilty of criminal conspiracy in a case centered on alleged efforts to secure covert Libyan funding for his presidential bid between 2005 and 2007. He briefly served part of the sentence before being released under judicial supervision pending the outcome of the appeal, and has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

At the opening of his questioning on Tuesday, Sarkozy attacked the case against him, calling it a “construction” built on “lies and hatred” and claiming there had been “not a single cent” of Libyan money in his campaign. He denied that Gaddafi had any hold over him “financially, politically or personally,” telling the court: “I am innocent.”

Nine co-defendants are reportedly being retried alongside Sarkozy, including former ministers and senior aides. Several have also denied wrongdoing.

The case dates to 2011, when Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, son of Muammar Gaddafi, claimed that his father had provided up to €50 million ($58 million) to support Sarkozy’s campaign. Investigators later examined contacts between Sarkozy’s associates and Libyan officials in the years leading up to the 2007 election.

Sarkozy, who led France from 2007 to 2012, was at the forefront of a NATO-backed regime-change operation which destroyed Libya and led to Gaddafi’s murder.

The war brought thousands of jihadist fighters into the country, devastated Libya’s economy, and opened a migration route toward southern Europe that precipitated an ongoing crisis.

Prosecutors say the suspected dealings predated the conflict. Some observers have suggested the war effectively buried any potential evidence linked to the alleged funding arrangements.

The appeal trial is due to run until June 3, with a verdict expected later this year. If upheld, the conviction could expose Sarkozy to a sentence of up to ten years in prison.

Exposing The FBI's Human Experimentation Studies

“You’re only going to create a real problem for an FBI employee if you call ‘em direct this way.”

Senior FBI official Thomas Gregory Motta was upset that I dared to call him to talk about the bureau’s hidden experiments on humans.

He joined the bureau in 1998 and was promoted to the FBI’s senior ranks nearly 20 years ago. During his tenure, the bureau has grown proficient at snooping on journalists — as documented in a secret government report published by Racket — without having to face their questions.

Motta is a decorated FBI veteran, credited with an intelligence community award in 2007 for modernizing the American government’s most important foreign espionage tool and having worked on the secretive “going dark” national surveillance program.

After internal criticism surfaced more than a decade ago involving the bureau’s experiments on humans, the FBI put Motta in charge of an internal team revamping its approach to human subjects research.

In 2023, Motta delivered a presentation detailing the government’s work on secret human experiments, going all the way back to a catastrophic project that saw a CIA scientist drugged with LSD plunging to his death from a hotel room window 70 years earlier.

The government labeled his presentation, “NOT AUTHORIZED FOR POSTING ON THE INTERNET.” Here is Motta’s presentation to the Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research conference, posted on Racket in full, with only Motta’s personal information removed:

Among the types of human experiments undertaken by the FBI, as detailed by Motta, are research involving facial recognition studies and algorithm testing, genetics, violent extremism, interrogation science, and more.

What is the bureau’s “oldest, continuous human subject research project?” It involves killers, namely the “Serial Homicide Interviews of Incarcerated Offenders” that Motta captioned with a photo of celebrated fictional monster Hannibal Lecter, as played by Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs.

They’re About to Override the Market

Yield curve control. The mechanism that lets central bankers set a ceiling on interest rates, print whatever dollars are needed to maintain it, and quietly hand the bill to every saver, retiree, and working American who never voted for any of it. Last time the US deployed it — World War II — inflation ripped to 18% and ordinary citizens were wiped out. Today, the debt is 10 times larger in real terms, the credibility is worse, the yields being capped are double, and there is no postwar industrial boom waiting on the other side.

Japan tried it from 2016 to 2024. The yen lost over 50% of its purchasing power. Everyday citizens paid for government borrowing with the slow-motion destruction of everything they'd saved.

Now look at this week's Treasury auctions: three in a row, all came in weak. Natural demand wasn't there. Yields were raised to attract buyers. It still didn't work. The big banks had to step in as backstop. And the amount of debt that needs to be sold is only going up — $39 trillion on the books, $73 trillion in unfunded liabilities underneath that, and a Middle East escalation that hasn't even been priced yet.

The Fed's options are narrowing fast. Raise rates and detonate the debt. Cut rates and let inflation run. Or reach for the third lever — the one they swore they'd never use again.

Taylor Kenney breaks down exactly how yield curve control works, why the conditions are set, and what it means for every dollar you have saved. Watch before the window to understand this closes.

No Kings - Except Moloch And Marx And Everyone Else

No kings? But millions of little queens of both sexes, tyrants in both public and private life, who would make sure, if they were in the position to do so, that I would pay dearly for the very sentence I am writing right now; who police both what you say and what you would very much like to be left alone not to say; who use exceptional cases to justify surveillance over people who teach their children at home, and who agitate to make that choice more difficult if not illegal; who have in fact made it illegal, by the agency of the national government, for people to refrain, without suffering a stiff financial penalty, from buying health insurance which they may not need or want.

No kings, but millions of people dancing with glee at the assassination of Charlie Kirk and hoping that that’ll teach those rednecks from getting uppity; headsmen glad to lop off inconvenient lives at their beginning, exercising total and tyrannical power against the most vulnerable, whose very existence is owing to the voluntary actions of those who would slay them; shedding crocodilian tears of sympathy if someone who is sad and lonely at any age decides to end his life, corralling a doctor or nurse to assist in suicide, and thus corrupting the profession; eager to embroil the nation in a war with Russia, yet crying out in rage at the prospect that Cuba and Venezuela might now have the chance to pick themselves up out of their socialist miseries; no kings but Moloch and Marx.

No kings, but fantasy queens, all the touchier and more vindictive if anyone should laugh at the fantasy, or even say, hat in hand, scraping and ducking, that maybe, well, maybe, the fantasy isn’t real; wrenching the very definition of marriage away from common law and common sense; glad to compel girls to compete against mentally ill boys in sports, and even gladder to have them invade their locker rooms; continuing, with all the might and weight of schools, colleges, and the media, to thrust upon a still-hesitating populace one experiment after another against sexual reality and against the most reliable means for climbing out of poverty, the family; no king and queen but Baal and Astarte.

No kings, but people with the souls, though not the courage, of tyrants, who, if someone in a favored group is murdered or is alleged to have been murdered by a policeman, will organize en masse to shut down your city, vandalize businesses that get in their way, and block traffic on major highways, stranding ambulances and the desperate people they are carrying, and who will in general carry on so as to make a fair trial impossible; people, including some who hold political office, who issue open threats to judges, demanding the judgment they approve and saying that they will pay for it if they judge otherwise; no kings, but wannabe dictators everywhere, armed with organizational money and power, going after an ordinary fellow with a bakery, making a federal case of it if he declines politely to contribute his efforts toward the celebration of perversion.

No kings, no kings, but people eager to suppress the native population by conniving at the non-enforcement of immigration laws, laws duly passed by the people’s own representatives in Congress; no kings, but people content to make it trivially easy to cast a vote by mail, which you are not authorized to cast; no kings, but people who hate the less populous states and would overwhelm them with the might of numbers, by eliminating one of their few frail signs and guardians of autonomy, the Electoral College.

Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning Longterm PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East. We received a 10 point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran, but a two week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated. On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the Countries of the Middle East, it is an Honor to have this Longterm problem close to resolution. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Texas Investigating Islamic Tribunal For Allegedly Operating Sharia Law Court

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Monday an investigation into a Dallas-based group accused of operating as a sharia law court.

In a press release, Paxton said he requested documents from the group, known as the Islamic Tribunal, regarding allegations that it was issuing rulings based on sharia law.

According to the release, the Islamic Tribunal has “reportedly sought to replace actual courts of law and to evade neutral, generally applicable state and federal laws.”

Paxton warned, “Anyone or any entity that seeks to subvert the codified state and federal laws of this country will be stopped dead in their tracks. If the Islamic Tribunal is undermining the rule of law or misleading Texans about the legal authority it claims to hold, my office will ensure its operation is shut down.”

“This is America, and we will not be governed by sharia law,” he added.

The Epoch Times reached out to the Islamic Tribunal for comment.

The organization described itself on its website in April 2025 as a “unique institution” in America. It said its 2014 establishment aimed “to set a precedence [sic] that will be emulated and duplicated throughout the country.”

The organization has since changed the wording on its website, saying it wanted to clarify its operations amid the controversy.

“The Islamic Tribunal wishes to clarify the nature of its work in light of recent public statements,” the group stated. “The Tribunal does not function as a court of law and does not issue legally binding judgments.”

The website noted the group’s role was limited to mediation and religious arbitration requested by members of the Muslim community.

“Our experienced imams are here to listen, support, and offer faith-based, non-binding spiritual guidance to anyone seeking clarity or comfort. We provide a welcoming and confidential space rooted in Islamic ethics and in full respect of U.S. and Texas law.”
