Report: Israel was not informed of the United States plan to reach a temporary two-week ceasefire agreement with Iran until the deal was already in its late stages of finalization.

The extent of Israel’s involvement was a phone call US President Donald Trump made to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shortly before the ceasefire was announced, WJS cited a US official as stating.

Earlier today, Israel dropped over 160 bombs across areas in Lebanon within 10 minutes.

The IDF describes this assault as part of a new operation they named “Eternal Darkness” claiming they are targeting Hezbollah sites. Civilian apartment buildings have been completely destroyed with reports of hundreds of deaths.

JD Vance has taken the side of Benjamin Netanyahu, saying the ceasefire with Iran never included Lebanon, where many Christians live.

He says that promise was never made and now believes Israel is setting the United States up for success.

“I think it comes from a legitimate misunderstanding.”
