The V-22 Osprey features a maximum unrefueled self-deployment range of 2,100 nautical miles (3,889 km), while its combat range varies based on payload: it can carry 24 troops or 6,000 pounds (2,722 kg) of internal cargo for 430 nautical miles (796 km), or 8,300 pounds (3,765 kg) of cargo for 220 nautical miles (407 km).
We need a bigger Osprey with better range and payload for rescue operations. These numbers are too low due to it's current size. Something close to a C130 Osprey.
