We lost some big planes that got stuck in the mud during the pilot rescue operation. Those C130 types have the range and fuel capacity, and weren't really designed for such tasks. Ospreys do not have the range nor does electric or any copters. What is needed is a F35c type of landing on a larger plane designed as a workhorse like the C130s but not so big and heavy. A vertical landing Osprey type but with Jets, for range, but slightly larger in capacity.
