The National Police Association Endorses the De-escalation Drone Pilot Program Act

When police officers respond to active shooter situations and other high stakes calls, they often arrive with limited information.
This places them at a strategic disadvantage. In situations where lives are on the line, drone technology can be invaluable. Drones can reach scenes in mere seconds to minutes, provide real-time video footage and precise analyses.
Due to wording in the 2018 FAA Reauthorization Act, law enforcement is generally prohibited from using drones in federally regulated airspace.
The Deescalation Drone Pilot Program Act of 2025 (H.R. 3598) will remove this barrier. It establishes a pilot program within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to determine how non-lethal drones may assist police in high stakes situations.
This bipartisan bill, endorsed by the National Police Association (NPA), was introduced by Rep. Troy Nehls (TX-22) and has 10 original co-sponsors; among them are Mike Ezell (MS-4), Donald Davis (NC-01), and Ryan Zinke (MT-01). It has been referred to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. The text for the bill is here.
Drones used in this program will strictly be applied to high-risk situations, contain only nonlethal devices like cameras and sensors, and be manufactured in the United States.
The FAA will collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other partners, who will submit a report to Congress.
"Drone technology is an indispensable tool for use in unpredictable scenarios when seconds count and lives are in peril. Instead of sending officers to scan potentially hostile situations, drones can be used to perform precision surveillance and analysis.
At a time when police agencies continue to struggle with staffing, this is especially critical," said Paula Fitzsimmons, Legislative Director, National Police Association.
"The Deescalation Drone Pilot Program Act of 2025 will remove the current roadblock police agencies currently encounter in using this technology," Fitzsimmons added.
The NPA is grateful to Rep. Nehls and bill co-sponsors for working towards a solution to make drone technology available to police officers for use in critical situations.

10,000 Drones Depict 'King Jesus' Over North America

In a spectacular Easter light show, Aerial Illuminations Drone Light Shows created a nine-day drone display over Manvel, Texas depicting the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The finale on Easter featured 10,000 drones forming images and words related to the Christian holiday, setting four Guinness World Records.

The large-scale drone display represents a new frontier in religious and cultural celebrations, using cutting-edge technology to bring a timeless story to life in a visually stunning way.

The details
Over the course of nine nights from March 27 to April 5, Aerial Illuminations produced a series of drone light shows depicting different stories from Jesus' life and ministry, culminating in a finale on Easter that featured 10,000 drones.
The production took over two months to plan and involved more than 100 crew members. The finale show set four Guinness World Records, including the largest QR code, largest LED screen, largest logo, and largest word ('JESUS') created by drones.
The drone light show series ran from March 27 to April 5, 2026.

Video: Three Bigfoot Sightings Reported in Canadian Community

A Canadian community is buzzing about Bigfoot after three separate witnesses said they spotted the legendary creature over the course of just a few days.
The possible Sasquatch flap reportedly came to light via the Bigfoot Mapping Project, which received the trio of reports from the municipality of Chatham-Kent, Ontario, earlier this month.
In each of the three cases, which occurred on successive days from April 3rd to the 5th, witnesses described seeing a black or cinnamon colored bipedal figure standing approximately seven or eight feet tall.
Likening the trio of reports to the recent alleged Sasquatch flap in Ohio, Bigfoot Mapping Project creator Scott Tompkins marveled that the two spates of cases are unique in that "this type of activity has not been reported since the mid-70s in this type of concentration and frequency."
That said, not everyone in the community is convinced that the legendary cryptid is roaming around Chatham-Kent.
A reporter dispatched to the area spoke to several people who expressed skepticism about the sightings, with one musing, "I don't really believe it," and another declaring, "I think it's silly."
That stance was echoed by Josh Redstone, a philosophy professor at Ontario's Carleton University who once taught a course on paranormal beliefs and argued that "there probably is not a Sasquatch out there for anyone to go and find."
Instead, he suggested that the 'Bigfoot' being seen in the area are probably bears or hoaxers.

FOLSOM, La. - A new video taken in Folsom, Louisiana is currently going viral, and for good reason.
In the video, two Louisiana men notice something quite interesting in the clear blue sky over their house, and that something quite interesting appears to be a UFO.

Taken on March 28, 2026, a video posted by the Instagram account ufo_disclosure_is_imminent shows the moment two men notice something odd in the sky from their backyard.
After trying to get a stable, zoomed in shot of the object in the sky, one of the men brilliantly uses a pair of binoculars in front of his phone's camera to get a pretty clear view of appears to possibly be a UFO.

Witness statement; 'We watched this sunflower seed shaped object, not moving very stationary for about five minutes until a cloud obscured it when the cloud is no longer in the way it was gone my son and everyone at his work saw it 20 miles away 12 minutes later'.
Several other people in Louisiana commented they saw it too, with one woman claiming she saw it in the sky over Denham Springs, Louisiana.
Others claim they saw the same object on the same day as far away as Arkansas. Some people comment that it's just a high-altitude blimp or a cloud.
I will admit, my first thought was that this simply a cloud, but once they got a closer look at it using the binoculars, it definitely starts to look like…well, something else other than a cloud.

Tom DeLonge Showed Trent Reznor A Photo Of A Dead Alien At Foo Fighters Drummer’s Wedding

That headline is a wild ride, right? A lot to unpack there. The important information is all up there. Rock stars are getting together and showing each other pictures of dead aliens.
As you might already be aware, Blink-182 member Tom DeLonge is a big alien guy. During his time away from Blink, DeLonge became an important figure in the field of UFO research. In 2015, he claimed that he'd actually been in contact with aliens.
He won a UFO Researcher Of The Year award in 2017. As more and more evidence of alien visits emerged in recent years, he's been at least partially vindicated. Fellow rock stars who meet DeLonge at weddings might get to see some of his findings.
The latest Tom DeLonge alien story comes from Ilan Rubin, currently employed as the drummer for the Foo Fighters. Last year, Foo Fighters fired drummer Josh Freese and hired Rubin, who was in Nine Inch Nails at the time.
In turn, Freese joined NIN, thus completing the great 2025 drummer swap. A few days ago, Rubin appeared on the podcast Go With Elmo Lovano, and he talked a bit about the drummer-swap story, making it sound as businesslike and low-drama as possible — a matter of contracts ending and opportunities presenting themselves. He also told his Tom DeLonge/Trent Reznor story.
Ilan Rubin got married a few years ago, when he was still in Nine Inch Nails. Rubin has been in DeLonge's side project Angels & Airwaves since 2011, so both DeLonge and Reznor were at his wedding. Here's what he has to say:
We finally get down to the reception, and the first two people I see are Tom and Trent. And Tom's a really tall guy, and he's just hovering over Trent. His phone's out, and I know how this goes.
"Hey, check this out!" And I'm thinking, what is he possibly showing him right now? I go straight up to them, and I'm like, "Hey guys, how's it going?"
Tom's like, "Dude! Congratulations! I'll seeya, I'm gonna get a drink!" I was like, "Trent, what's going on?" He's like, "That dude just showed me a dead alien."
That's it! That's the whole story!
I know this happened a few years ago, but I'm even more excited for the Nine Inch Noize record now that there's at least some chance it was partially inspired by looking at a dead alien on Tom DeLonge's phone.

‘They probably gonna fake alien invasion’: 9th NASA scientist’s mysterious death adds to a pattern raising eyebrows

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration, better known as NASA, has been in the news a lot lately. The Artemis II mission finally took man back to the moon for the first time in over 50 years.
But recent reports of NASA scientists either dying or vanishing, all within a span of three years, have made people more interested in what the agency has been working on behind closed doors.
According to the Daily Mail, Michael David Hicks was the first to die. Hicks’ cause of death was never announced, and there’s no public record of an autopsy.
That alone caused considerable controversy with internet conspiracy theorists such as Candace Owens — but more on that later.
Hicks worked as a research scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He was a veteran at the agency, having been there from 1998 to 2022 — just one year before he died under unclear circumstances.
He’s reportedly one of the nine people connected to the agency, with intimate knowledge of America’s space or nuclear programs, to have died.
NASA is usually viewed as a unifying institution in the country. Scientists who work there are aware of this role and have often resisted making their political leanings public, even when things aren’t going well.
What makes the situation more mysterious is that there are at least three other scientists with close ties to Hicks who worked on NASA missions with him and later went missing.
That includes Monica Reza, the new Director of the Materials Processing Group at JPL, who vanished without a trace in June 2025.
In July 2024, Frank Maiwald died at 61. More recently, two other men with close ties to JPL also died. The deaths didn’t stop there. On Feb. 16, 2026, astrophysicist Carl Grillmair died at 67.
Grillmair was a researcher at the California Institute of Technology whose work was heavily supported by NASA’s JPL.
All of these deaths and missing-person cases have occurred with little public acknowledgment from the agencies involved.
A graphic compiling the missing persons and deaths has since circulated on X, and people have had wildly varying reactions.
One user wrote, “They probably gonna fake alien invasion to establish one world government as a so-called earth defense force.”
Another suggested, “Almost like the amount of deaths and suicides related to the Epstein circle.” Candace Owens tied it back to moon-landing conspiracy theories, ominously writing, “Gus Grissom might have a clue” about what could be happening.
Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett also weighed in, saying, “There have been several others throughout the country that have disappeared under suspicious circumstances. I think we ought to be paying attention to it.”
What is actually going on is difficult to determine from the outside. Just the other week, Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama even had a tongue-in-cheek exchange suggesting they might have personal beliefs about aliens that the public isn’t ready to engage with yet. So, for now, there are still more questions than answers.
One thing is for sure, however: where there’s smoke, there’s fire. These are too many cases for it all to be a coincidence. It could be — but it seems unlikely.
