There are only winners in peace.

If Iran wasn't planning on a nuclear weapon, then by giving up the nuclear material, they have lost nothing.

Once given up, take 50% or some other amount of sanctions off and another 50% in increments as the Straits are opened.

Give them Security Guarantees about:

1. Not leaving them defenseless against regional threats

2. Israeli aggressions

3. Nor retribution from Gulf states.

It really costs them nothing and is a win win for all sides.
