Not only on twitter, also on youtube disinfo Agents often pose behinds tags like "illuminatus23" to get street credibility and infiltrate certain topics as limited hangouts to start undermining a movement once it picks up some pace.
good example of this is "Sebastian Bartoschek" on twitter posing as "illuminatus23" trying to discredit anyone as "mentally unstable" who believes in "conspiracy theories".
they try to lure in people who dont know who to follow and newbies by grabbing the tags you would google or search first like "Anonymous" and they are getting many, many many people that way.
