Most beloved boss I ever had was former Navy.

My job interview was basically this:

1. Can you carry this (50 lb.) feed sack from here to there and then do it again? Can you do it again after that?

2. What do you call a one-legged prostitute in

China? (Irene)

Mexico? (Consuelo).

His family kinda hated him and if I were his kid, I may have, as well.

Luckily, was not his kid and loved the heck outta him.

He never made me haul feed after the interview and DID tell at least two dirty/racially charged jokes every day for the next _____ years.

Yet, he was not an actual racist OR sexist. Just liked a nasty joke. :)

Have been re-reading certain parts and am at least able to acknowledge which parts bother me and WHY they bother me.

The pain is real and my understanding is that is, sometimes, weakness leaving the body. (Or mind.)

I do reserve my right to check out from some of the pain, though.
