United States President Donald Trump is facing renewed scrutiny as crypto tokens and projects touted by the US president crash to all-time lows or sit near record low levels.

The governance token issued by World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform co-founded by Trump’s sons, sunked to an all-time low of just $0.07 on Saturday.

Hungarian opposition leader Peter Magyar has denied reports that his supporters will instigate riots if he loses to Prime Minister Viktor Orban, as turnout in the most consequential European election of the year passed a record 66% on Sunday afternoon.
Magyar, whose Tisza party is challenging Orban’s ruling Fidesz alliance, wrote off reports of planned riots as “scare stories and lies.” Earlier in the day, a former Tisza party adviser released a document alleging that Magyar’s EU backers were urging him to declare victory prematurely, and start street-level violence modeled on the 2014 Maidan coup in Ukraine if the result doesn’t go his way.
Magyar has dominated pre-election polling, after campaigning on corruption, public services, and restoring ties with the EU. The vote will determine not only who will govern Hungary, but also how far Budapest resists policy proposals coming from Brussels.
Orban has spent years frustrating the EU with his stance on Russia, sanctions, and military support for Ukraine, making this election a closely watched test for Brussels as well as for Orban’s allies on the international right. Ukraine is also watching – and allegedly interfering in – the vote, as Orban is currently vetoing the EU’s planned €90 billion loan package for Kiev.
Data from Hungary’s National Election Office showed that 66.01% of the Hungarian electorate had cast their ballots by 3:00 PM. By this time in 2022, turnout had just surpassed 52%.
Independent polling summarized by AP suggests Tisza entered election day with momentum, though the race is still expected to be tight because of Fidesz’s entrenched rural support and the advantages Orban enjoys from incumbency and Hungary’s electoral system.
Casting his ballot, Orban told reporters he is “here to win,” while Magyar insisted “no one can seriously think that Tisza, and thus Hungary, will not win the election.”
The election is taking place on a single day for all 199 seats in Hungary’s National Assembly, with results expected to start coming in after polls close at 7:00 PM.

Shin Bet chief David Zini has downplayed settler attacks on Palestinians, leading to a crisis in the agency’s Jewish Division, according to a Friday report, even as former security chiefs and some in the settler movement’s old guard warned of the need to crack down on the soaring violence.
Security sources cited by Haaretz on Friday said Zini, who is affiliated with an ultraconservative yeshiva and has identified as “messianic,” refers to the settler attacks as instances of “friction,” rather than terrorism. They added that he has not given priority to stemming the rising tide of violence.
Settler attacks on Palestinians, including killings, have consistently been on the rise in recent months and are reported daily in the West Bank, but rarely prosecuted.
This week saw a letter signed by 22 former security chiefs warn that “an extremist group, backed by irresponsible ministers and enabled by the silence of a prime minister, cannot be allowed to destroy the Zionist enterprise and Israel’s security.”
The former police and army chiefs and Shin Bet and Mossad leaders demanded action “before a black flag stains the blue-and-white flag.”

Thousands of Asian, African and Middle Eastern migrants 'granted entry to UK under Ukrainian visas'
Thousands of migrants from Asia, Africa and the Middle East have entered Britain under a Government scheme that offers free visas for Ukrainian refugees.
Nearly 3,500 visas have been granted to people from 112 countries, including Iran, Iraq, India, Afghanistan, the Palestinian territories and Nigeria, under two separate schemes giving refuge to Ukrainians fleeing Russia's full-scale invasion.
Under one option, Ukrainians could come to the UK if they had family living in Britain, or they could enter the country if they had been offered accommodation under the Homes for Ukraine sponsorship programme.
Both schemes were set up under the previous government, but have continued under Labour as Russia's war in Ukraine rages on into its fifth year.
The number of visas given to non-Ukrainians is now almost one in every 80 of the 279,223 applications granted by the Government.
Russians make up the biggest number of non-Ukrainians to have entered the UK under the visa scheme at 588, while Nigerians made up 408, Afghans 294, Iraqis 161, Moldovans 152, Turks 149, Indians 124, Belarusians 107, Iranians 107 and Egyptians 106.
Other nationalities entering Britain under the Ukrainian visa scheme included Ghanaians (81), Syrians (65), Libyans (34), Palestinians (27), Vietnamese (18), Yemenis (17), Chileans (seven) and Argentines (three).

Despite the ban, Explosive Media’s videos remain widely available on other platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and X. Roman Gofman approved as new Mossad director, PMO confirms
Gofman, an IDF Major-General, is currently serving as the prime minister's military secretary. He will replace incumbent Mossad Director David Barnea on June 2.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday approved Military Secretary Maj.-Gen. Roman Gofman as the next head of the Mossad.
The approval came after the vetting committee of former Supreme Court chief justice Asher Grunis approved Gofman, after months of delay due to certain prior controversies.
Gofman will replace David Barnea as the country's top spy chief on June 2, after Barnea completes his five-year term, which started in 2021.
In December, The Jerusalem Post reported that there are many forces stacked against Gofman, but also that there are some strong winds in his sails.
Based on the Post's interactions with him as an IDF officer and deeper sources who know him, he is more formidable than many realize.
Gofman, 49, and who moved to Israel from Belarus at the age of 14, was never supposed to be the chief of the Mossad.
Had he not been appointed Mossad chief, he might or might not have moved on from being Netanyahu's military secretary to another IDF General Staff role, depending on his relations with IDF Chief of Staff Lt-Gen. Eyal Zamir.
Zamir may have been suspicious of Gofman as IDF chiefs sometimes are of a prime minister's military secretary, in terms of how loyal they are to the defense or political establishment, and moved him to a non-promotion track.
Though often military secretaries obtain strong later roles, an IDF chief gets support from the prime minister on another issue in return for promoting the military secretary.
But all of that is now irrelevant, as Gofman will be leaping up to head a global spy service juggernaut, which will essentially make him Zamir's equal.
Incidentally, the Post understands that Gofman has Zamir's full support, who, regardless of their relations while Gofman has worked for Netanyahu, reflects fondly on working with Gofman in certain prior military roles.
Unlike with David Zini's appointment as an outsider to head the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), there will be no legal processes to hold up Gofman's appointment.
