Second Contractor Steps Forward to Blow the Whistle on Israeli Attacks at Gaza Aid Site

In his first interview since returning from Gaza, David McIntosh says he witnessed Israeli soldiers firing open fire on crowds of Palestinians seeking aid.

On September 25, 2025, David McIntosh filed a report to his bosses at Safe Reach Solutions (SRS) detailing an account of Israeli soldiers gunning down a young Palestinian boy as he was getting food at a site run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). “There’s no way he survived,” McIntosh told Drop Site News and Middle East Eye in his first interview since returning from Gaza five months ago. “He was murdered. He was straight up murdered.”

At the time, McIntosh was one month into a three month stint working as a contractor with GHF’s logistics partner SRS. Between August and October 2025, he mostly managed Site 4, the only aid site in central Gaza, near the Netzarim corridor. According to McIntosh, Site 4 was more dangerous for aid seekers than its other sites in southern Gaza.

Like thousands of other Palestinians trying to survive an Israeli-imposed starvation campaign on Gaza, the boy—who looked about 12 years old—had come to the site that day looking for food. After he managed to get his hands on an aid parcel, he continued playing atop a sand berm at the site, according to McIntosh.

Members of GHF’s security firm UG Solutions threw a flash bang grenade to warn the boy to leave the area. Minutes later, Israeli snipers shot the boy in the shoulder near his chest. Severely wounded, he struggled to carry himself to a nearby bridge before collapsing.

“He was doing nothing but laughing and joking and they killed him,” McIntosh told Drop Site. “There was no reason they shot him. There is no reason on God’s given earth that they shot that lad.” The boy was left to bleed out for around 30 minutes before a “vehicle came and took him away,” according to the report, which was based on eyewitness accounts of two of his SRS colleagues. The report was part of a daily written briefing he was required to send to his superiors at SRS at the end of every day.

Though the report detailed the likely fatal shooting of a child at a GHF site, McIntosh said he never received a response from SRS and nothing came of it.

McIntosh told Drop Site and MEE that such attacks on Palestinian aid seekers by Israeli soldiers were routine and provided documents and footage to back up his claims. GHF has claimed that the Israeli military has no presence inside its aid sites but the videos McIntosh provided shows the Israeli military positioned in close proximity, demonstrating just how intertwined their operations were.

New York has been a godsend for gun rights in passing a series of unconstitutional limits on Second Amendment rights only to result in major adverse rulings. It may soon do the same for the free exercise of religion. New York is now going head-to-head with a group of Dominican nuns over a law challenged as unconstitutional. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul and the state are being sued over a law that forces religious organizations to adhere to LGBTQ policies.

Mother Marie Edward, O.P., explained to Fox News Digital that they will not set their faith aside under the threat of fines, loss of licensing and even jail time. She noted that they ask nothing from the state and ask to be allowed to offer charity without abandoning their religious principles:

“We are consecrated religious Sisters and have one mission. It is to provide comfort and skilled care to persons dying of cancer who cannot afford nursing care. We do not take insurance or government funds or money from our patients or families. The care is totally free…

We are supported by the goodness of our benefactors. We do this without discriminating on the basis of race, religion, or sex. We do it because Jesus taught us that, when the least among us are sick, we should care for them, as if they were Christ himself.”

Hochul signed the law on Nov. 30, 2023, billed as creating a “Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, and people living with HIV long-term care facility residents’ bill of rights.” The law bans long-term care facilities and staff “from discriminating against any resident on the basis of a resident’s actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or HIV status.”

The Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, who run Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, New York, objected that the law requires them to assign rooms by gender identity, not biological sex; allow access to opposite-sex bathrooms and coerce speech recognizing identities and relationships that violate Catholic values. It would also require staff training on gender ideology and the posting a public notice stating compliance with these demands.

According to a press release from the Catholic Benefits Association, the New York State Department of Health sent the first in a series of “Dear Administrator” letters to the Hawthorne Dominicans’ Rosary Hill Home demanding compliance despite their religious objections. The nuns note that they have never had a single complaint filed over the treatment of its residents.

If they do not comply, the nuns face fines up to $2,000 per violation that increase up to $10,000 as well as the loss of licensing and up to one year in prison.

Hochul remains committed to compelling the nuns to comply — a position that may prove costly with Catholic voters in the upcoming election.

The Supreme Court has repeatedly struck down anti-discrimination laws compelling speech or conduct in violation of religious values.

For example, in Little Sisters of the Poor Saints Peter and Paul Home v. Pennsylvania (2020), the Supreme Court ruled 7-2 in favor of the Little Sisters of the Poor, allowing the Catholic nuns to refuse to provide contraceptive coverage in their health plans.

GOP lawmaker warns 'Stop Nick Shirley Act' will block independent journalists from uncovering fraud in CA

"California Democrats are trying to intimidate citizen watchdog journalists and protect waste and fraud happening in far-Left-wing NGOs."

California Democrats have advanced a bill that aims to protect "designated immigration support services" from "threats or acts of violence." Republican lawmakers have warned that the bill would silence citizen journalists such as Nick Shirley, who has recently released reports uncovering millions in fraud in the state.

California’s AB 2624 passed the Assembly Privacy and Consumer Protection Committee in an 11-2 vote on April 7 and was referred to the Judiciary Committee. Republican Assemblymembers Alexandra Macedo and Carl DeMaio were the only ones to vote against it. The bill, which has been dubbed the "Stop Nick Shirley Act" by DeMaio, was authored by Democrat Assemblymember Mia Bonta, the wife of California Attorney General Rob Bonta.

The bill would prohibit the posting of personal information or the image "of any designated immigration support services provider, employee, or volunteer, or other individuals residing at the same home address" online with the "intent" to "Incite a third person to cause imminent great bodily harm to the designated immigration support services provider," or to "Threaten the designated immigration support services provider."

If such an immigration support services worker has information posted online, they can bring forth legal action. If a judge rules in the worker’s favor, damages shall be awarded "in an amount up to a maximum of three times the actual damages, but in no case less than four thousand dollars ($4,000)."

DeMaio has warned that the bill would "silence citizen journalists and shield taxpayer-funded organizations from public scrutiny" amid a time when independent journalists such as Shirley have been scrutinizing the state.

A press release from DeMaio’s office stated, "AB 2624 claims to be about protecting immigrant organizations from 'threats of violence,' when in fact the legislation would apply to any left-wing group that claims to provide any services to legal or illegal immigrants. For example, under AB 2624 entities like the Somali 'Learing' Daycare centers would all be covered if they operated inside California."

DeMaio said in a statement, "California Democrats are trying to intimidate citizen watchdog journalists and protect waste and fraud happening in far-Left-wing NGOs. AB 2624 can only be described as the ‘Stop Nick Shirley Act’ — a bill designed to silence citizen journalists exposing fraud and abuse of taxpayer dollars. Instead of fixing the fraud problems being uncovered, Sacramento politicians are trying to shut down the people exposing them."

Mr Taylor is set to unveil a hardline immigration policy at the Menzies Institute in Sydney on Tuesday, including pledges to further fund immigration enforcement, reassess certain visas and harden security at the border.

Mr Taylor will accuse the current and previous governments of accepting migrants who don’t believe in equal rights for men and women, the rule of law and freedoms of speech, association and religion.

“Our nation has paid the price for believing that anyone, from anywhere, will embrace our way of life,” he is expected to say.

“For too long, we’ve turned a blind eye to a reality of immigration and integration: Those who migrate from liberal democracies have a greater likelihood of subscribing to Australian values compared to those migrating from places ruled by fundamentalists, extremists, and dictators,” he will say.

“Our door has also been open to people who, while rejecting hate and violence, nevertheless still reject our core values.”

It comes as the Coalition has lost sway to One Nation which believes their anti-immigration policies have been popular with voters.

Migration to Australia surged following the lulls during the Covid pandemic, peaking at half a million after borders reopened.

Those gains were partially driven by a backlog of visa holders and international students while the government expanded the skilled migration take to address labour shortages.

Female student allegedly sexually assaulted by male recruit at New South Wales Police Academy

A female student has allegedly been sexually assaulted by a male recruit on the grounds of the NSW Police Academy.

A female student has allegedly been sexually assaulted by a male recruit at the New South Wales Police Academy in Goulburn.

A police probe is underway into the incident, which allegedly occurred when the pair returned to their accommodation quarters after they had been out drinking at a licenced premises with other recruits on Sunday night, the Daily Telegraph reports.

The female recruit notified her superiors of the alleged sexual assault a short time later.

“On April 12, 2026 police received a report of an alleged sexual assault at the NSW Police Academy in Goulburn," a NSW Police spokesperson told SkyNews.com.au.

“The alleged female victim, who is a student at the academy, is receiving support and welfare assistance from academy staff as the investigation continues.

“A male student at the academy has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.”

Both students have given statements, with other trainees set to be interviewed.

No charges have been laid.

The NSW Police Academy is in the state’s Southern Tablelands, about two hours from Sydney’s CBD.

Lavrov reiterates Russia’s readiness to contribute to resolving crisis around Iran

The foreign minister emphasized the importance of preventing the resumption of armed confrontation

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov reiterated Moscow’s readiness to contribute to resolving the crisis around Iran in a phone call with Tehran’s top diplomat Abbas Araghchi, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"Lavrov highlighted the importance of preventing the resumption of armed confrontation and reiterated Russia’s continued readiness to contribute to resolving the crisis, to which there is no military solution. He also pointed to Russia’s initiative to develop a security concept for the Persian Gulf that would involve all regional countries and be supported by non-regional nations capable of positively influencing the negotiation process," the statement reads.

Araghchi briefed Lavrov on the details of the Iran-US talks held in Islamabad on April 11. "Russia welcomed Iran’s willingness to continue diplomatic efforts to find solutions that would make it possible to address the root causes of the conflict and ensure long-term stability in the region, taking into account the legitimate interest of Iran and its neighbors," the statement adds.
