I noticed that issue with 8ch not 8kun. It seems to be a buffering issue with automatic updates. What I found is that you can toggle the checkbox at the bottom of the page, so the countdown starts at 5 seconds. Seems like something is not triggering the updates on longer countdowns. 8ch, enlarges pictures all the time, 8kun only expands images that were loaded in the last page reload.
