‘Rapists should be hung’ – US lawmaker

Andy Ogles’ statement follows the resignation of two fellow members of Congress amid sexual misconduct allegations

A Republican member of US House of Representatives has called for rapists to be hanged, but insisted he wasn’t talking about fellow Congressmen who resigned over allegations of sexual misconduct.

Democrat Eric Swalwell and Republican Tony Gonzalez announced on Monday they will step down from Congress following reported accusations by former staffers.

“Rapists should be hung, period. No questions,” Andy Ogles told influencer Benny Johnson when asked about the allegations against Swalwell, insisting, however, that he wasn’t talking about the California Democrat.

“I don’t want the Secret Service to come, I’m not talking about Eric Swalwell, I’m not threatening a member of Congress,” he added.

Last week, media reports detailed accusations of sexual assault by a former aide against Swalwell and cited three women who accused the lawmaker of separate instances of sexual misconduct. Swalwell, first elected to Congress in 2013, denied the allegations, claiming they were part of an effort to derail his campaign.

“They are absolutely false. They did not happen,” Swalwell said in a video on X on Friday, posting later that he was “deeply sorry for mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past.”

Lavrov calls for end to ‘electoral neocolonialism’

The West is using so-called ‘observers’ to meddle in voting around the globe, the Russian foreign minister has said

The “global majority” must resist US and EU attempts to use observers to interfere in elections around the world, Russia Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has urged.

Lavrov made the statement in a video address to the participants of the International Research and Practice Conference on Ensuring the Observation and Expert Assessment of Electoral Processes, which took place in Moscow on Tuesday.

The event, organized by the Center for International Interaction and Cooperation, brought together some 150 public figures, MPs, academics and experts from 60 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America to address Western electoral influence. It was held with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation and Russia’s cultural exchange agency, Rossotrudnichestvo.

Lavrov said that the West is meddling in the internal affairs of other nations not only through staging so-called ‘Color Revolutions’ or using force directly, but also through what he described as “electoral neocolonialism.”

The “global minority” relies on its monitors “conducting biased external observation [of elections] and then presenting its results, with the help of partisan media, as the final view of the entire international community,” he said.

“Russia cannot and will not support the continuation of such practices… Together with like-minded partners, we advocate for criteria that would allow for an unbiased assessment of electoral processes in the countries of the Global South and East,” the foreign minister said.

The conference in the Russian capital has launched the process of creating the first global independent international non-governmental association in the field of electoral and political monitoring, the organizers of the event said.

The new body aims to organize monitoring missions to objectively assess the openness and legitimacy of voting in various countries, while promoting non-interference approach in the electoral processes, they added.

The Russian authorities “welcome the idea of creating an association for monitoring electoral processes, which could serve as an alternative institution for election assessment in a multipolar world. Such a structure should ensure independent and depoliticized observation, offering a counterweight to Western approaches,” Lavrov said.

Irish Government on the Verge of Collapse Amid Massive Protests?

The restless natives of the Emerald Isle, facing what would otherwise be universally recognized as an attempted genocide were they not white, have made their largest showing of defiance to date over the last couple of weeks.

Highlights:

· “Irish Lives Matter” banners seen in street protests: VIDEO

· A sea of Irish flags on the streets of Dublin: VIDEO

· (Another) migrant hotel en fuego: VIDEO

Even largely impotent “nationalist” (heavy emphasis on the quotation marks) Sinn Féin has been dragged, kicking and screaming, to at least be seen feigning interest in addressing the concerns of the protesters.

After state stormtroopers failed to quell the uprising over the weekend, the party yesterday announced the introduction of a motion of no confidence in the parliament.

Via The Independent (emphasis added):

“Fresh fuel protests caused traffic disruption across Ireland’s motorways on Monday, despite the government’s half-a-billion-euro package to address rising costs.

While blockades at fuel depots and Ireland’s only oil refinery were lifted, smaller protests continued on motorways near Dublin. A Facebook page, a source of protest information, posted conflicting messages on Sunday night, suggesting both continued action on Monday and that “all protestors and Gardai go home”…

The seventh day of disruption on Monday comes as the government faces a motion of no confidence in the Irish parliament on Tuesday.

The main opposition party Sinn Fein is to table the motion criticising the government for not reconvening the Dail last week and not engaging directly with the protesters, while also calling on the government to take the “maximum action necessary” to cut fuel prices.”

The radical Left in Sacramento has finally done it. Nick Shirley act passes

In a move straight out of a totalitarian playbook, the California Assembly Judiciary Committee voted 11-2 on Monday to advance AB 2624, the so-called “Stop Nick Shirley Act,” a disgusting Democrat power grab designed to make it illegal for brave citizen journalists like Nick Shirley to expose the rampant fraud bleeding American taxpayers dry in immigrant service centers.

This is nothing less than an all-out assault on the First Amendment by the radical left in the People’s Republic of California.

The bill, authored by far-left Assemblywoman Mia Bonta (wife of Attorney General Rob Bonta), would slap investigative reporters with massive civil sanctions starting at $4,000 minimum if a fraudster from one of these “immigrant service centers” decides they don’t want to be caught on camera committing their scams.

The crook can then run to court for an injunction banning the journalist from filming or exposing them on camera for up to four years.

And if the journalist refuses to take down the original video? Triple the damages, $12,000, just for telling the truth!

In the worst cases, if the journalist is accused of “doxxing” or creating an “imminent threat” by simply reporting the facts, they could face criminal charges and $10,000 fines.

The bill classifies legitimate investigative journalism as “harassment” when it targets these so-called “immigrant service centers” you know, the fake Somali daycares and Los Angeles hospice operations that Nick Shirley has been courageously exposing.

What a disgrace! This is Democrats in action: protecting fraud artists over the American people.

Italian PM Giorgia Meloni Suspends Defense Pact with Israel.

Italy’s suspension of its defense cooperation with Israel is part of a broader trend of European countries decoupling from the Jewish State.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced the suspension of the automatic renewal of a long-standing defense agreement with Israel, citing the need to stabilize the Middle East and ensure the safety of Italian UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) soldiers. The announcement follows Israel’s continued military action in Lebanon following a ceasefire in Iran, and allegations that Israelis opened fire on Italian troops serving as UN peacekeepers in the country.

Israeli officials have downplayed the significance of the suspended agreement, describing it as a non-substantive memorandum of understanding. The suspension of the agreement, dating back to 2003, is a major shift in Italian policy toward Israel and follows repeated criticisms from Meloni and her government. Prior criticism has included an incident in which Israeli troops struck a Catholic church in Gaza, killing three people, and a more recent incident in which the Catholic Latin Patriarch Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa was stopped from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulcher on Palm Sunday.

“In light of the complex reality we are experiencing, the government has decided to suspend the automatic renewal of the defense agreement with Israel.” – Giorgia Meloni.

Meloni emphasized the importance of reopening the Strait of Hormuz for critical supplies, including fuel and fertilizers essential to Italy’s agricultural sector. Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani had earlier condemned Israeli attacks on UNIFIL troops, including Italians, and summoned Israel’s ambassador for an explanation. The suspension signals a shift in Italy’s relationship with Israel and comes after a decade of support for the country. It also reflects a broader European trend away from supporting Israel in the Middle East. Notably, Italy was also one of the European countries to obstruct the Trump administration from using air bases to conduct strikes on Iran, an operation coordinated alongside Israel.

Spain’s Socialist Workers’ Party Will Grant Amnesty To 500,000 Foreigners In Country

Spain’s Socialist Workers’ Party has authorized plans to grant amnesty to 500,000 illegal migrants in the country, authorities said.

Pedro Sanchez, Spain’s prime minister and general secretary of the Socialist Workers’ Party, said in an April 14 statement shared on X that the Council of Ministers would approve a move to grant amnesty to migrants.

“The Council of Ministers will approve today the Royal Decree that initiates the process of extraordinary regularization of people in an irregular situation in our country. An act of normalization, of recognizing the reality of nearly half a million people who already form part of our daily life. And, also, an act of justice and a necessity,” Sanchez said, according to an X translation.

“We recognize rights, but we also demand obligations. That those who already form part of our day-to-day do so under equal conditions, contributing to the sustenance of our country and our model of coexistence.”

“Today, once again, I feel proud to be Spanish,” he continued.

Xi Jinping Embraces Spain — ‘On the Right Side of History’ with China

Xi Jinping on Tuesday praised Spain for being with China in the “right side of history” after meeting with socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez in Beijing.

Sánchez is presently conducting an official tour of China that saw him meet with Xi at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The ongoing visit marks the fourth time Sánchez has visited China in the past four years, seeking to deepen Spain’s political and commercial ties with with the Chinese communist regime.

Per the Chinese state-run Xinhua News Agency, Xi called upon China and Spain to deepen their cooperation in trade, energy, and other areas — and urged both countries to promote “their comprehensive strategic partnership to yield more results and bring more benefits to their people.”

“China and Spain are principled nations that act with moral integrity, and both are willing to stand on the right side of history,” Xi said, and urged Sánchez to “reject a return to the law of the jungle” and “to jointly uphold genuine multilateralism and safeguard peace and development in the world.”

“Let us work together to find ways to strengthen the multilateral system and international law, which are being repeatedly and dangerously undermined at a time when they are needed more than ever,” Sánchez answered to Xi, per the newspaper El País.

Sánchez praised Beijing as a “key global player in resolving the wars ravaging the world” and emphasized that Spain, “a deeply pro-European country,” wants to contribute “actively to the creation of a new global order that will finally bring peace to the world.”

“I find it very difficult to imagine any other parties besides China that could resolve this situation in Iran and the Strait of Hormuz,” Sánchez said.

“International law is being violated today, fundamentally by one country: the government of Israel,” Sánchez claimed, per the Associated Press. “There is also an absolutely illegal response from the Iranian regime regarding a war that we have described from the very beginning as a mistake and an illegality.”

Xi reportedly described Spain as a “bridge” to the European Union in the encounter between both delegations. El País noted that Sánchez “also served as an European ambassador” in his presence.

“Let us establish a stronger bond between China and the European Union, because if these powers understand and cooperate with one another, they will do so for the benefit of their societies and also for the benefit of stability, peace, and prosperity in the world at this very delicate juncture in international affairs,” Xi said.

“Spain will rise to the historic challenge it faces,” Sánchez claimed, and to be “courageous,” “clear,” and “predictable” in managing Spain’s position.

Sánchez said that he and Xi spoke about the ongoing situation in Lebanon, Gaza, Iran, the Strait of Hormuz, and Ukraine — encouraging Beijing to “continue to actively contribute to strengthening the multilateral system.”
