Seriously, way too many people just want the information age to look exactly like the world they're familiar with from the previous age, except with fancy devices, and foreign agitators are abusing the fuck out of their wilful blindness.
The world is going to have to get used to the fact that the false faces everyone has been wearing for millennia are just that, false, if we're going to survive being so deeply interconnected. You want to know what the inside of everyone's butthole looks like? You'd best get used to being comfortable looking at the inside of people's buttholes.
Frankly I think we'd be much better off just giving each other more space, but that's clearly not in the cards without some sort of massive global revolution.
