The pope is another guy in life.
if there are important matters of faith of ecclesiastical importance, the decision of a pop is infalible. For everything else? his politics, his tastes, his habits, his opinions about other people?
ONLY when he is speaking universally about ALL mankind is his opinion considered infallible and only then in matters of eccliastical concern.
The left doesn't seem to understand that taking over the papacy gives them nothing. He's just another guy. Catholics have survived it before, Catholics will survive it again. The institution of the papacy will survive. The opinions of the southside pope about a political party? not so much.
