>If I need a shrink or spiritual advisor

that is self-evident

you also need intelligence, education, character, self-awareness, and self-control

to name but a few of your more glaring inadequacies

>I wouldn't bother coming here.

you're free to leave, anytime, skippy

don't let the door hit your ass on the way out

>a global leader in hydrogen-rich water

a wise man once observed, "no one ever went broke overestimating the stupidty of the masses"

hydrogen is essentially insoluble in water

the most expensive brands have 3-5 PARTS PER MILLION

if you can't arithmetic, that means a typical 500mL bottle of "super" water has 1.5 - 2.5 MILLIGRAMS of hydrogen

and diatomic hydrogen is essentially inert in a human body

so 2 mg ain't gonna do jack shit for anyone

but the PLACEBO effect and power of suggestion WILL make some people wealthy beyond the dreams of avarice

whelpโ€ฆ

you've opened a can of mixed worms

first, higher ed IS going the way of public ed

and it's true that most recent grads, even in the exact sciences, are braindead idiots

no one is taught how to solve problems

they are made to memorize factoids

to be regurgitated on cue using multiple-guess tests

another aspect is that too much bullshit is passed off as an "exact" science

the issues with peer-review the speaker refers to are NOT new, and have been continually challenged

but so far, unfortunately, no one has come up with a better approach
