It is not the programs that are necessarily the problem. How the states run them however is, not to mention the ways illegals can get them. It is harder for a citizen to get this type of help some some nigger vermin from africa. The elderly and disabled in this nation can not even get this easily. Then you have city agencies that help perpetuate these systems and are grifting also like catholic charities. The programs would function better if you just rounded up all the illegal families and fuck it all the dreamers etc.

Trump winning and setting up America as winner in the oil wars. All these fucking nations who have fucked America for decades are going to be begging America for help again.

I kinda get Elons idea that the speed of productivity will create a surplus and if they can not sell it cheaply companies will be sitting on stock. BUT at the same time where is the incentive for the companies not to raise their prices or a way to stop them from doing so to create a artificially induced inflation. The idea you address is brought up in Star Trek. The idea of replicators for instance all food is created hunger and need is diminished. SO the idea becomes that if pepole want to earn more than the base replicator rations etc they do something of service like join star flee, to pursue your dreams and what you want to learn rather than what society says you have to do to barely scrape by. Idealistic yes, but hierarchy still exists in star trek, and effort is still rewarded. Needs work shopping but it could be done.
