Israel already told the US it does not care what the US says about the war and will continue it until it deems it in it's own self interest to stop. When Trump stops sending them money and weapons, I will believe he is not controlled by them. Until then, it is all just theater. Trump knows he is in trouble with his base and probably asked bibi if he could say this to make it look like he is not controlled.
Opps on the straight of Hormuz, but then again his family members most likely had a big bet on the price of Oil falling and are long on the stock market. Once they have raked in millions or billions, the war can continue as planned, just in time for them to go long on oil and defense contractors and short the rest of the market.
