Not terribly familiar with international trade (like, at all but I believe no law is being broken. That being said, Trudeau doing this could prove problematic for Trudeau as he's sticking his dick in a hornet's nest. POTUS could retaliate, should retaliate. It's a blatant attempt to manipulate the outcomes of American elections. Trudeau has gone full retard. As if threatening to kill POTUS wasn't enough.
