All official, registered participants who complete the 26.2-mile Boston Marathon course, including para-athletes and wheelchair divisions, receive a finisher's medal at the finish line. Medals are awarded to everyone who finishes, regardless of whether they complete the course before or after the 5:30 p.m. cutoff.
