Peak Oil concept applied to Peak Internet
The saturation point of tech has been reached. From here it will only roll back. As AI becomes forced into more and more softwares, consumer goods, cars, people are reacting against it viscerally. People do not like paying more and getting less/worse. We've been dealing with that for a long time now. Everyone I know if using less and less technology, not bringing phones with them as much, and generally unplugging. As AI content becomes a larger and larger pool of data on the internet, it poisons itself, like mad cad disease with prions. The quality will only devolve from here. We're approaching the 1990s style internet faster than we realize, with specific non-AI sites being the only functional ones, airgapped from AI. The only communications that will be safe from this are ones that are airgapped as well. Social media is crumbling because of this. Look at the dating apps as a very good example of the steep drop off of users directly tied to worsening algorithms and AI plugins. We're tired of low quality.
Get ready to see malls get popular again, actual nice styles come back, tech bros will go broke. The American Dream will return and those who push global tyranny thru surveillance will be exposed. The uniparty will dissipate as well.
