I can tell you Saudi was peaceful until about late 90s when NATO's Op Gladio started. Saudi was always a protectorate of the British Crown through the sleazy British Aerospace contract. 1995 - SANG Riyadh bombed - small mutters. 1996. Khobar Towers - everyone became more open about the royals. 1998 - Bill "Clit"on bombed Somalia and Iraq. THAT was when they started to hate us, and they were right. We were evil to the Gulf states.
