JUST IN: U.S. Rep. David Scott (D-GA), who represented Georgia's 13th District for over two decades, has died at the age of 80.

Scott had been running for a 13th term ahead of the May 19th primaries at the time of his death.

His political career spanned more than 50 years, beginning with his election to the Georgia House of Representatives in 1974, followed by a state Senate seat in 1982, and his election to the newly created 13th Congressional District — covering DeKalb and Gwinnett counties — in 2003.

Scott had remained popular in his district despite reports of health issues in recent years, often running unopposed or winning by wide margins.

Details surrounding his death have not yet been released.

Sounds sorta like subversion or treason to me, what does everyone else believe?

I do know one thing, if these people are not held accountable, their behavior will never change and they will try to get away with even worse things in the future.

NPR Admits That It Could Get the Rich Libs to Pay For Coverage Trashing Conservatives Instead of Forcing Conservatives to Foot the Bill

NPR’s business model has — or, blessedly, had — always been providing hard-left content to rich urban liberals and forcing everyone, including the conservatives they trashed, to pay for it via their tax dollars.

Not that they’d acknowledge that. NPR’s claim was that they got basically 1 percent of their annual revenue from your tax dollars, then would insist in the next breath they desperately needed that 1 percent.

Both of these were half-truths: A federal entity called NPR only got 1 percent of the public broadcaster’s revenue from tax dollars, but that was just the national organization; when you added up all the subsidies, direct and indirect, to NPR and its stations through other forms of taxpayer largesse, that number was roughly at least a quarter of its operating budget — which it did desperately need under its former business model.

Last May, President Donald Trump signed an executive order cutting off taxpayer funds from going to NPR (and its television cousin, PBS) from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting: “At the very least, Americans have the right to expect that if their tax dollars fund public broadcasting at all, they fund only fair, accurate, unbiased, and nonpartisan news coverage,” he said in a statement at the time.

A RIGGED ELECTION TOOK PLACE LAST NIGHT IN THE GREAT COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA! All day long Republicans were winning, the Spirit was unbelievable, until the very end when, of course, there was a massive “Mail In Ballot Drop!” Where have I heard that before — And the Democrats eked out another Crooked Victory! Six to five goes to ten to one, and yet the Presidential Election in November was very close to a 50-50 split. In addition to everything else, the language on the Referendum was purposefully unintelligible and deceptive. As everyone knows, I am an extraordinarily brilliant person, and even I had no idea what the hell they were talking about in the Referendum, and neither do they! Let’s see if the Courts will fix this travesty of “Justice.” President DONALD J. TRUMP

‘Go Home and Tell Mom and Dad to Vote YES’: Fairfax County Teachers Busted Turning Students into Democrat Activists to Push Radical Redistricting Gerrymander ‘To Stop Trump at All Costs’

At least two different Fairfax civics teachers instructed their students to go home and pressure their parents to vote YES on the Democrat-backed constitutional amendment that would allow the General Assembly to scrap Virginia’s current fair congressional maps and impose a heavily gerrymandered 10 Democrat-to-1 Republican map.

🚨🚨BREAKING: The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued an injunction blocking enforcement of California’s new law that requires ICE agents to unmask and wear visible ID, arguing it violates the Supremacy Clause because it “attempts to directly regulate the United States in its performance of governmental functions.”

California is enjoined from enforcing the law, pending appeal. Big win for the Trump administration & U.S. DOJ.

White House pushes imminent easing of controls on marijuana

Under an administration plan, marijuana would be moved to Schedule III, like some common prescription painkillers. It now has the same Schedule I classification as heroin.

The White House has told federal agencies to prepare to imminently loosen restrictions on marijuana, days after President Donald Trump appeared to express frustration with the pace of easing federal restrictions on illegal drugs.

The Drug Enforcement Administration is planning to soon announce a new administrative hearing, a required step in the process of rescheduling the drug, according to two people who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe plans that have not yet been announced.

Under the plan, marijuana would be moved to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act, similar to some common prescription painkillers. Marijuana currently has the same Schedule I classification as heroin.
