A move to end the EU-Israel Association Agreement has been struck down, led by objections from Germany, Austria, and Italy. The accord, in existence since 2000, has served as the framework for EU-Israeli relations pertaining to both trade and foreign policy, with a key pillar being Israel’s access to the markets of EU member states.
Last week, Spain, Ireland and Slovenia wrote a letter to the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas, citing Israel’s decisions by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as laws passed by its parliament and actions taken by its military.
It cited, most recently, the death penalty approved by the Israeli parliament as evidence of “systematic persecution, oppression, violence and discrimination exerted against the Palestinian population.”
“In such a grave situation, we call on the European Union to uphold its moral and political responsibility, and to defend the very core values that have underpinned the European project since its foundation,” they wrote.
Going even further, the letter highlighted that Israel has essentially broken its agreement with the European Union. “Not only a grave violation of fundamental human rights, but also a step backwards in Israel’s commitment to democratic principles, as underlined by your March 31 statement, and therefore a violation of Article 2 of the EU-Israel Association Agreement.”
Spain has cited Article 2 for more than two years to take action against Israel and attempt to invalidate the agreement.

Major US networks have turned a blind eye to an explosive undercover video in which a senior Pentagon official spoke about Ukraine’s rampant corruption and civilian casualties resulting from the war on Iran, O’Keefe Media Group journalist Michael Casey has told RT.
Speaking to RT on Friday, Casey weighed in on footage that O’Keefe Media Group released earlier this week, apparently showing Andrew Hugg, a Pentagon nuclear safety officer, revealing secrets to a woman he met on a dating app.
The official was recorded confirming that US airstrikes did cause collateral child casualties in Iran, discussing nerve agents stored in Maryland, and alleging that Ukrainian officials had pocketed US taxpayer funds going back to the Obama administration.
Following the release of the video, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that Hugg “won’t work here anymore,” calling the leaks “incredibly irresponsible and unpatriotic.” Despite the story rising to the level of the US defense chief, it has been largely absent from the US mainstream media.

Major US networks have turned a blind eye to an explosive undercover video in which a senior Pentagon official spoke about Ukraine’s rampant corruption and civilian casualties resulting from the war on Iran, O’Keefe Media Group journalist Michael Casey has told RT.

Casey also noted that it was “baffling” that a senior Pentagon official had spilled the beans on “very sensitive things regarding American foreign policy” to a complete stranger. “That opens the question: who else is he talking to? And it’s a very big national security issue,” he said, pointing to Hugg’s scramble to erase his digital footprint as a de facto admission of wrongdoing.
The journalist also singled out Hugg’s claims about the Ukraine corruption, saying that while they were “the most interesting parts of the exposé,” they were also “one of the least surprising.”
“It sounds like millions of taxpayer dollars dating back to the Obama administration were misused and taken into by Ukrainian oligarchs… Many people, specifically on the right, have for years been blowing the whistle, saying that money is being misused in Ukraine. Far too often, it has been dismissed as conspiracies,” he said.

Soros DA Hides Docs On Migrants Getting Legal Help In ‘Sketchy’ Move
Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner’s staff is hiding the criminal records of migrants receiving free legal aid after the Daily Caller News Foundation previously exposed serious charges.
Krasner cannot disclose the foreign defendants’ charges because it no longer keeps such a list, his team told the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records Tuesday in response to a DCNF information request. Krasner created an immigration counsel role in 2018 to help foreigners avoid convictions that lead to deportation, one of many soft-on-crime reforms he implemented after leftist megadonor George Soros supported his first and second campaigns with $1.9 million.
Larry Krasner’s office has repeatedly and carelessly violated fundamental ethics rules governing the practice of law by purporting to prosecute aliens while actually defending them, at taxpayer expense, from the immigration consequences of their crimes,” FAIR Deputy Executive Director Matthew O’Brien told the DCNF. “This kind of blatantly unethical behavior would result in the average lawyer being suspended from practice or disbarred. Therefore, it is no surprise that Krasner’s staff is now trying to hide what it is doing [by] engaging in sketchy record-keeping practices.”
The district attorney’s office provided the same list the DCNF is asking for in prior years, releasing it to a legal group that now belongs to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). Those previous records showed former Immigration Counsel Caleb Arnold consulted migrants who were charged with murder, rape and other violent crimes, the DCNF reported. This contradicted Krasner and Arnold’s statements to the media that the immigration counsel would only assist low-level cases.
Krasner’s staff now refuses to disclose its foreign defendants’ charges to the taxpayers footing their legal expenses to keep them in the country. Meanwhile, the district attorney has repeatedly promised to put immigration agents in handcuffs if he deems their actions criminal.

Macron Says China’s Xi, Russia’s Putin, and President Trump Are ‘Opposed to Europeans’
On a visit with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Athens on Friday, President Macron continued his push for Europe to re-arm itself in light of the supposed unreliability of the United States under President Trump, who has himself long called for Europe to pay more for its own defence.
Nevertheless, Macron yet again attempted to cast such a rearmament as being contrary to the interests of the United States.
Speaking from the Roman Forum in Athens, the French president said, per Le Figaro, that Europe is going through a “unique moment” in which there are “an American president, a Russian president and a Chinese president” who are all “fiercely opposed to the Europeans”.
Macron said there is now “doubt about Article 5”, referring to the provision in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) charter that ensures all members of the alliance would come to the defence of another if attacked.
While President Trump has consistently maintained that the United States would honour the agreement, he and top members of his administration have questioned the current status quo of the alliance and whether it continues to benefit America and its citizens.
