Wait a minute. Hold on. Let me get this straight.

The Washington Hilton charges a shakedown price of $685 per night for a hotel room. They're hosting a nationally-televised event. It's the biggest gala of the year. The most powerful government leaders and most well-known media personalities in the country are all gathered inside a single room for one evening. There's previously been a presidential assassination attempt at this same location. The United States is currently at war. And, the President is one of the least popular and most divisive in American history.

So….

The Washington Hilton's surveillance is a black and white camera system that looks like footage from the graveyard shift at a 7-11 in the year 1972? It's almost like one of those old Kodak out-of-focus box cameras that was never hooked up and might as well been just for show.

I mean – really? This is the actual hotel video? What's the fucking point? Why even bother? My five-year-old Ring camera hanging at my front door gives off better footage than this.

I don't know who's in charge of the video security department at the Washington Hilton, but if I was one of the supervisors I'd be thinking a job evaluation might be overdue.

Hell, the old grainy Loch Ness Monster footage is better than this and that's from 1933!
