Farmer here. I'm not selling much on the market when I do that. Without fertilizer I'm maybe supporting 20 people per 40 acres and that's going for 20 times current market rates. You city folks are fucked for the next decade. If market catches up to cost this year I'll plant in 2027. Fucked fucked you are until then.

Night y'all, I took care of me and mine for what comes next. I'll do what I can for others with what's left over but I doubt I'll be doing much for you for a couple years. Trust the plan. No crops in the ground this year, farm bill didn't help me.

If you are seriously asking, https://www.regenerativefarmersofamerica.com/what-is-regenerative-farming

This is not something that can be done outside family farms or at scale with the current market. Maybe get government out of agriculture first if you want long term food security. But be prepared for costs to go to 50% of average income in that case.

While I have their attention, out of the 8000 acres around me, the only farm/ranch in the area that is meaningfully contributing to the common food supply should be a fucking Superfund site considering the amount of forever chemicals dumped on that land through the free fertilizer from human waste program the government talked him into. Enjoy your next burger dumbasses.
