UK Government Raises National Terrorism Threat Level to “SEVERE”

 

The United Kingdom has raised its national terrorism threat level from “substantial” (an attack is likely) to “severe” (an attack is highly likely). This is the second-highest level on the scale and the first time it has reached “severe” in over four years.

 

In the threat level notice, MI5, the United Kingdom’s domestic counter-intelligence and security agency, referenced the recent stabbing of two Jewish men in North London.

 

The Gateway Pundit reported the two men were stabbed by a Muslim extremist in front of a Synagogue in London.

 

Images show the attacker targeting the men without provocation.

 

Per MI5:

 

This change follows the stabbings in Golders Green on 29 April, although it is not solely a result of that attack. The UK has been experiencing a gradual increase in terrorist threats for some time. This has been driven by a rise in both Islamist and Extreme Right-Wing terrorist threat from individuals and small groups in the UK.

Blanche says Comey indictment goes beyond '8647' Instagram post

 

"The career FBI agents, the career Secret Service agents that investigated this case, didn't just look at the Instagram post and walk away," Blanche says

 

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said on Sunday that the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey goes beyond his "8647" Instagram post about President Trump.

 

"Rest assured that it's not just the Instagram post that leads somebody to get indicted," Blanche said on "Meet the Press" on Sunday.

 

"The career FBI agents, the career Secret Service agents that investigated this case, didn't just look at the Instagram post and walk away," he added.

 

Blanche declined to elaborate on the matter.

 

"So I am not permitted to get into the details of what the grand jury heard or found," he said.
