British jobs, innovation and long-term economic growth will be supported by £26 million to bring drones and air taxis to UK skies faster

Drone deliveries, flying taxis and smarter emergency services could be a step closer to use in UK skies, as the government awards almost £50 million to unlock growth in the drone and advanced air mobility sector, today (5 May 2026).
Part of the £46.5 million investment will also see a crackdown on ‘faceless’ drones, which can be used in suspicious or illegal activity, through the first bespoke drone identification system.
The measures will make it easier for police to identify illegal or nuisance users and clear the way for legitimate drone operators.
Delivered through the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the funding will also cut red tape and support the regulatory, digital and security foundations needed to bring drones and advanced air mobility – such as electric flying taxis – into more routine use across the UK.
Aviation, Maritime and Decarbonisation Minister, Keir Mather, said:
We’re backing the next generation of British aviation innovators with nearly £50 million to drive drone regulation reforms and unlock barriers to growth that will create jobs, lower emissions and further the UK’s world-leading aviation reputation.
Innovation must go hand in hand with strong security – that’s why over half of our investment will develop a new ID system to track drones in real-time, supporting emergency services and building public confidence in an industry that could be worth up to £103 billion by 2050.
Security Minister, Dan Jarvis, said:
This funding will create a numberplate system for the skies.
Law enforcement will be able to identify and take action against those who break the law, taking drones out of the sky and protecting the public.
Hybrid Remote ID works by sending out the drone’s ID and location during flight so nearby devices can pick it up, sharing flight details through a secure online system that authorised people can access even when they are not nearby and recording historic data.
The funding also includes £26.5 million to drive smarter regulation and cut red tape – making it easier for drones to be used in everyday public services and driving economic growth across the UK.

This includes speeding up approvals for drone operations for emergency responses, medical logistics and infrastructure inspection, driving forward regulation to get flying taxis in the sky from 2028.
Drone operators will also benefit from a streamlined digital application process, reducing the time required to navigate regulations and prepare applications.

The broader UAP issue is no longer a fringe subject. Congress has treated it as a transparency and national security matter. The Pentagon has an office dedicated to investigating reports. NASA has studied how better data can be collected.
The public has watched military pilots, intelligence officials, lawmakers, and journalists push this subject into the mainstream. That does not mean every viral claim is true. It means the standard of proof must rise with the seriousness of the allegation.

“Who are flying these machines?” he asked. “Who made these machines that can outpace, outmaneuver and outperform our greatest war fighters?”
That question sits at the center of this entire story. And perhaps more importantly, why does the world suddenly seem so eager to prepare humanity for the answer?
Jesus warned us that deception would intensify in the last days. Scripture repeatedly describes lying signs and wonders that can mislead the world.
Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians about a coming strong delusion tied to humanity’s rejection of truth. Revelation describes supernatural manifestations unlike anything civilization has experienced before.
The concern is not fascination. It is discernment. Because something is happening. Even the government admits that. The real battle now is over interpretation.
Are these secret military programs? Visitors from another world? A psychological operation preparing humanity for a new worldview? Or are we witnessing the early stages of a spiritual deception the Bible warned about thousands of years ago?
That question no longer belongs to conspiracy documentaries and fringe websites. It is now being debated in Congress, discussed on Fox News and pushed directly into the public square.
And the deeper this story goes, the more the world seems determined to look everywhere for answers except the one place that explains it best: Scripture.

Trump’s Team Just Witnessed A Live UAP Demonstration

A small group of intelligence officials working under President Trump’s declassification directive reportedly stood at a location inside the United States within the past few weeks and watched a UAP appear in front of them.
According to filmmaker Dan Farah, who shared the account on the Danny Jones podcast, those officials had asked for a demonstration of how the phenomenon can be lured in, and they got one.
Representative Eric Burlison confirmed a similar account on a separate podcast just days earlier. Farah, who directed Age of Disclosure, says multiple sources inside the government described the same event to him before Burlison ever went public, indicating a pattern rather than a single voice.
According to Farah, the same officials witnessing this demonstration are the ones tasked by a current cabinet member with identifying what evidence can lawfully be declassified under the President’s directive.
The team is receiving heavy pushback from the people who have historically gatekept this material, and they are still being blocked from accessing very real evidence that exists.
Reference a new Liberation Times article by Christopher Sharp, the Pentagon’s UFO office may be structurally unable to release what is now being witnessed. AARO’s current head, Jon Kosloski, has described UAP as really peculiar and perplexing.
His predecessor, Tim Phillips, told Sharp the office encountered cases where highly qualified observers saw performance no human aircraft could produce, and that the office was able to conclusively prove these were not built by us, and not built by any adversary either.
According to Sharp, the structural problem is that AARO grew out of AOIMSG, a group housed inside the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security, which handles counterintelligence and insider threat operations and oversees the most classified compartments in the entire defense system per a 2025 Special Access Program security manual.
Phillips also confirmed AARO does not have the authority to classify on its own, but it can apply existing classification guides from other agencies through derivative classification.
Sharp reports this appears to be what happened with Air Force whistleblower Dylan Borland, who provided three drawings to the office. Two were marked classified afterward, and Phillips did not deny the account when asked.
Two sources further told Sharp any forthcoming disclosure may go as far as acknowledging the United States possesses recovered exotic vehicles, based on the understanding that other nations possess similar craft and that a reverse engineering race is underway.
However, those same sources said the technology derived from those craft is unlikely to ever be released, citing national security concerns.
Farah also described the structure of what he calls the legacy program.
According to him, the CIA acts as the operational quarterback, the Air Force handles retrievals, defense contractors handle reverse engineering, and the Department of Energy provides a classification system that sits outside the normal intelligence community structure entirely.
Farah added that during production of his film, multiple potential interview subjects declined to participate, including one member of the special forces community who told him he would be forfeiting his life if he came forward.
Meanwhile on Fox News this week, Jeremy Corbell confirmed that the 46 classified UFO videos Congress has been pushing the Pentagon to release are already designated UAP by the United States military and intelligence services, and that he and George Knapp helped provide that list to Congress in the first place.
