>This is why we need mainly modular drones in lieu of one way attack drones. Payloads needs to be swapped out on demand.

Now consider having a specialized Navy vessel in theater designed to launch thousands of attack drones as opposed to an electrified swappable modular force. A thousand one way attack drones only have one use case whereas a modular swappable payload could not only be used for attack but suppression, recon, rescue operations, and as a continuous supply chain. The dispersion and coverage for MIA would increase survivability 1,000 fold without the risk of further personnel being put in jepoardy.

Shahed drone payload weights and ranges vary significantly by variant, ranging from small loitering munitions to large strike aircraft.

Shahed-136: Carries a 30 to 50 kg high-explosive warhead with an operational range of 1,300 to 2,500 km.

Shahed-131: A smaller variant with a ~20 kg warhead and a range of approximately 900 km.

Shahed-149 ‘Gaza’: A High-Altitude, Long-Endurance (HALE) drone carrying ~500 kg across multiple hardpoints with a range exceeding 4,000 km.

Shahed-129: A UCAV capable of carrying up to 400 kg of payload with a combat range of 1,700 km.

Shahed-238: Carries a ~50 kg warhead with a range of approximately 2,000 km.

Shahed-107: The lightest variant, with a ~15 kg warhead and a range of ~1,500 km.
