The reason they have the masses do things like ritualistic abuse of their own children is to primarily to make the case to themselves that the masses are not like them, that they are mere animals led easily. Take something like the ongoing health care debate. As is usually the case, both sides have good points. We'd like to live in a society where no one is deprived of needed medical care, but there are valid concerns within the paradigm about increasing burdens of government being applied in such a way that cynically attacks and undermines the middle class.

Both sides of the debate are really talking about the same bigger problem though, a lack of wealth available to the general population. The way to address that is to do things like build a space elevator, start growing the economy 10x faster than is usual, and have a government so overwhelmed with surplus that no one has to worry about these scarcity problems anymore.

We can get to 0% taxes and free health care for everyone in a few years pretty trivially. The normal left-right Overton window no longer has any place in our society.

Longer lives will generate novel problems no one has even considered yet. However, we can broadly say that youth and vitality can be restored via reactivating stem cell lines as long as you can control cancer, which we can. It has been known for many years before cancer became a major problem that dealing with it was a key to extending human longevity. One of the reasons they spread cancer in society was to recruit funding for studying it.

The most promising avenues for life extension are turning back the clock on stem cell lines. We already have a pretty robust ability to do this, but it carries the burden of massively increased cancer risk.

The most viable short-term techniques will involve a combination of the ability to cure malignant cancer with switching certain stem cell populations back on. Your youth and vitality are largely, not entirely, a function of more active germ lines in your youth that tend to shut down overtime. This protects you from cancer, but isn't necessary if we can provide the same protection via other means.

There are many other significant hurdles that remain to reach anything like a "fountain of youth" beyond this though.

In fact you will see much more robust family life in the near future.

Because we can extend life indefinitely, there is no longer a trade off for women between having children and having full careers. You can do one and then the other.

The average number of children produced may drop further, but that is not necessarily alarming when the population isn't continually culled from old age.

The way in which people go about their relationships is also dramatically altered by a more permanent existence. The psychic burden of a perception of temporaneous existence leads people to seek it all rather than to give it their all. You can see this is marriages where there use to be an (arguably imbalanced, but beside the point) exchange of responsibilities, duties, and privileges between the sexes.

Relieving the psychic burden of temporaneous existence, which religion did in the past but often no longer does, will allow people to be much more reasonable in how they formulate their choices, direct their efforts, shape their social contracts and thus generate more robust marriages.

As to food, this is a problem we can solve with a higher energy throughput economy and moving agricultural production indoors. There is a lot of evil and cynical stuff being done with vaccines, GMOs, etc., but these things are not entirely without merit either. Pests are a hard problem to deal with outdoors, but trivial inside. By moving our agriculture to indoor farming we reduce the toxic effects of pesticides and much of the motivation for GMO as opposed to selective breeding of better yielding crops. Cheap energy will make this transition happen for economics reasons; it is better to be able to grow year round, you get higher yields indoors, and so on.

Besides cheap energy for powering indoor lightning, the only other real obstacle in the way is water management. This needs to be addressed in big ways with projects like NAWAPA, but a higher energy throughput economy will make a variety of other solutions practicable like desalination plants on coasts distant from mountain ranges.

Most people are aligned with us on a moral basis. That being said, we did start things like the Illuminati that are widely regarded as the "new world order" and also believed to be bad. We are at a major turning point in history and have significant operations underway to guarantee that it goes well that cannot be compromised.

The big picture is, very roughly, that consciousness was loss in catastrophic events in the past. Evidence of civilization remained, consciousness was regained, people realized that it existed before and was lost. Mystery schools form to try to protect against that happening again but are eventually corrupted by ideas like the need for masters and slaves, therefore justifying an effort to keep most people unenlightened, unconscious, downtrodden.
